Our stay was superbly excellent with the fast check in and large accomodation room, large designers rest room. High sky scraper city view. BCC also provide a very nice swimming pool, spa and sauna activities. All the staff are polite , friendly, people orientate. Easy to communicate and respectiful. The room service was also quick to provide the room service and cleaning...

i've been stay at so many hotel in batam, but this hotel is 2nd of three best hotel i've ever stayed. so what are you waiting guys. if you wanna know which one is the best. just find my review. but, 3stars hotel in batam, this is the best. hint : my 1st is 4stars hotel :D

Of all the hotels, This is the BEST hotel in Batam. Even though it’s only for 1 night, we truly enjoyed our stay there. We were there with 3 other families and toddlers, the hotel is very family-oriented and clean! Best part is, it is just 1 minute away from the BEST goreng pisang in Batam (Gorpis Terawongan). Our kids really love the hotel and we will come back her...

Staying at the Grands I hotel was definitely a good move for my best friend and I. We really enjoyed our stay as it was really convenient in terms of being walking distance to the Nagoya Hill Mall and also the ferry terminal. Travelers should expect to pay around 50k - 60k Rupiah (~ SGD$5 - SGD$6) for your taxi from HarbourBay ferry terminal to the hotel and not more...

A relatively new hotel located just next to the mall (simply cross the road) where you have good access to entertainment facilities like KTV, shopping, massage, movies and food. The arcade timezone at the mall there isn't so great as most of the machine are down or faulty, preferred the bigger timezone located at batam center. On level 2 of the hotel, they have their...

This is newly built resort with spacious and clean rooms. Resort has good inhouse eating options with great staff at service. There is a mini mart as well. I stayed at resort with my wife for 2 nights and I can say it was the best stay you can ever get in batam. Resort has free pickup and drop off to batam ferry terminal every 2 hrs. Rooms are really big with amazing i...

During working around Batam Center and Singapore Office around 10 days. I very satisfy when stay in here. There's a lot of hotels in Batam Island, i prefer to choice harris hotel batam center, because the location near with mega mall batam, near with the restoran and also Ferry Internal as gate to Singapore. Very recommended if you have travelling to Batam. And also t...

I have stayed in a few other hotels in Batam over the past year and I must say this hotel has great staff and amenities in comparison. Examples where I feel that the staff are given good training and feel proud to be part of the hotel: 1. Everyone is happy to greet you even the security who were having a smoke break 2. Everyone seem to take their grooming seriously 3...

Was very impressed with the hospitality and cleanliness of this hotel. If you are in Batam, this an excellent hotel to stay in and feel safe. Though a little bit off from Batam Centre and Nagoya, it is easily accessible and the best part is there is no forceful taxi drivers that dictate your mode of transportation. You can easily book grab with out any fear or reprisal...

Hotel provide free transfer from batam center mega mall to hotel every 2hrs. Hotel do provide free shuttle bus to the other big shopping mall (Grand batam mall & Nagoya hill mall) every 2hrs. And they provide free buggy ride to the nearest mall (kepri mall) and you can arrange for a pick up from kepri mall at your preferred timing. When we reached hotel we are 3.5hr...

Definitely a highly recommended hotel in batam, near to ferry terminal and shopping centres. All staff from reception, bell boy and even the banquet waiter and waitress were efficient and friendly. 10/10 on service. i will definitely booked this hotel again for my next visit to batam. Thank you Gideon Hotel for the awesome service and making a pleasent stay for me and ...

One of the fine resorts in Batam Island, with great seafood at an economical price, awesome bar looking out into the sea and not to forget the exceptional hospitality by the restaurant/housekeeping and reception staff. Breakfast could be improved, but was generally fine. Will look forward to another stay in future!

i believe it was the best hotel in nagoya so far..i stay almost all of them...this hotel is value for its charges ...i love the poolside with many locals crowd around for activities therefore making batam itself more lively otherwise coldly........the room is clean n newer than the others...the food stalls behind the hotel manage by the hotel give us a room of their ow...

Private secure road entrance to a very smart hotel, spacious, quiet. Beautiful manicured gardens and palm trees with coconuts and the odd wild monkey! 4 attractive pools, several restaurants (including an excellent japanese cuisine) and pool side bars. A long jetty with a bar, very romantic! wonderful place for a 'special weekend' a honeymoon or simply some peace with...

My stay at Swiss belhotel harbour bay was GREAT! It is near the Harbour Bay ferry terminal. 5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal with a shelter walkway. one of the best hotels in batam, rooms are really nice, with daybeds as well, bathrooms were good. but room service is really bad! had to call a dozen times just for ice and they even insisted they had delivered already. stayed in room 397 i think, last room on the floor. pool's good too. no wifi in rooms but there's ethernet. location ain't a issue as most batam visit...

One of the famous hotels in Batam. My 1st stay was about 10years ago. This time, I stayed at Suite with my parents. The room is super clean. Large bed, clean bathrooms etc. The suite comes with one bedroom with king size bed + few sofas, fridge, bathroom + jacuzzi, tv etc. It comes with a living room and 2nd bathroom. Both bathrooms have standing showers. The room is s...

I happen to visit Batam with family for one night stay here at Planet Holiday hotel. Nagoya Hill Hotel is a 4 star hotel is the newest edition to the 4-star hotel in Batam island. The hotel is just a walk away from Nagoya Hill Shopping center which very much access to our needs - shopping, food and Spa... Hotel room is clean and staff are friendly..

Great value for money. For the same cost in a typical Singapore resort hotel with only one Queen sized bed, you can get a two bedroom suite at Holiday Inn Resort Batam. Cost of food at the various restaurants & cafes within the hotel in Batam is also cheaper at about halve the price of that in Singapore. This was our second trip to Holiday Inn Resort Batam in two years...

Locating a little distance away from Nagoya hill shopping mall but is walkable (5-7mins) so there is no issue! However, crossing the big road to the shopping mall was a little scary as there is no traffic lights. The traffic can be non-stop duing peak hours. But this is the same regardless of where you stay because the traffic at batam is like that. Hotel was quite n...

I have stayed in other hotels in batam before but this 89 hotel is the cheap and best one i found sofar. Nice and clean rooms with nice view , good breakfast. Room service is good and they acknowledged travelers with warm smile which is pleasing.. For 50 sgd approx, gud rooms good service and nice location. Will surely recommend and choose this hotel for my next visit....
Cheap places to stay in Batam Island

Location is far from Batam center, but its a great place to be, Feel like living in the old days. Food is cheap there,Friendly neighbour Owner is very nice, make us feel like a home, you can cook, use the kitchen, even the owner bring us to the Fish market for me coz im looking for se wet/dry food to bring back home.

It was a great room. Bathroom, TV and lots of privacy. The only issue is that the front desk ordered me a very expensive taxi ride to the airport:-( I specifically said a cheap ride. But I had a meter taxi and I was not aware. He quoted me a price of 17000 and the taxi charged me 120000.

It was a one pleasant week stay. Location is 10-15mins walk to kepri mall and nearby got food court. If you are lazy to walk or explore the surrounding just order food via grab or gojek it will be very convenient. The place is not difficult to find. WiFi is quite fast. To Nagoya mall will just be 15mins drive (car/bike) and its very cheap. Check in/out process was quic...

This is the first time I stay at this hotel and yet I was happy to have met the manager who is humble and even arranged transfer for my group from Batam Centre Ferry Terminal to the Hotel, Hotel to the Hang Nadim Airport. He is very dedicated to his visitors and keep asking if we have anything need assistance from the hotel.

- Good value for money for aircond room with queen size bed & TV. - Friendly & helpful owner who provided me with info on how to get around Batam. He even gave me a ride to the main road where there are food stalls selling local food. - Owner of guesthouse will clean/tidy the room everyday - 1 bottle of drinking water is provided everyday. Water dispenser also ava...

i'm impressed. Even though the hotel is cheap, they have a clean bathroom, it's not something that you can get for a cheap hotel. the hot shower is also working superb. other than that the bed was normal nothing special but it doesn't matter. The hotel also near the nagoya shopping mall which is great, and also you can find a food to eat next to the hotel.

Pleasant, clean and nice to stay. Best budget hotel that i have known in Batam. It is closed to nagoya hill plaza which is just opposite accross the street. Mean while behind the hotel not so far there is the Citywalk. There is area for kids play ground. For kuliners beside accross the right street there is The Winsor food and drinks area. I will surely recommend this...

Have been in search of a cheap and good place to stay for the past trips to Batam, but have consistently been disappointed. RedDoorz/Paragon hotel is the same (merge) scored well for all aspects! Well, no breakfast (not such a big deal walking distance to coffee shop and wet market nearby for breakfast outside anyway). Location was walking distance to Nagoya Hill and...

This hotel provide two way shuttle to Nagoya Hill Plaza and BCS Mall. Walking distance to attraction place: a) Cheng Hoo Mosque b) Upside Down Museum c) Go-Kart d) Miniature House Indonesia e) Can buy souvenir at Batik Factory Outlet, Batam Coffee and Batam Chocolate

Food everywhere, wifi acceptable, staff friendly, near the market so bear the smell but it doesn't affect the rooms. The room itself is basic for what u are paying, can walk around the hotel to find best cafe's too, even walk over to Martabak Har, for good Indian dishes. About 10 minutes walk to Nagoya Hill shopping mall or Nohill as locals call it, where you can find...

the location enjoys beautiful views and is very peaceful. the room was spacious and well maintained. it is an exceptionally calm and well- appointed hotel. the air-conditioned library is a distinguishing feature. excellent service and efficient airport shuttle.

Hotel & Room is good at cheap price, near some good restaurants and Super market. But slightly far to Batam center. not many intersting place in Batam island. but Food is delicous and cheap. No good place for swimming or Beach. is dirty for swimming. it's far to go from place to place for sightseeing.

Batu aji is a bit far from nagoya, center of batam for shopping, so we need to use car or van bus to go there around 45 -90 minutes depend on driving. anyway good for seamans which shipyard is a lot around this area.. so its depend on you, almost everyday room will full cause this is one of cheap hotel around batu aji.

A hotel located at Sukajadi, Batam Center, which is almost literally on the center of the island. The complex it's located in got some great choices of local and even international foods, which are available from the early morning right until late at night. Asked for 2 twin rooms for 4 people, but it seemed they only have 1 twin remaining (the other remaining one is ...

very clean, 15 minutes driving to Nagoya area. 15 minutes driving to Batam ferry, which is ok because we drive. The room is spacious with nice decoration. The only suggestion i have is that there was no hot water for a shower. It will be great if this can be improved! Overall, we were satisfied and Will stay again, especially in hot seasons when we dont need hot wate...

My short stay here was good for a so called 2 star hotel. It was comfortable, clean and near 2 mini marts which is convenient. The location is just alright as there aren't any nice views to look at from the window. But it is very near to the BCA main building though. The breakfast was not so good. Very limited choices. But the best part was the lunch buffet. Although t...

There is no other issue except transport. its located at center between Batam centre & Habour Bay. so May have some difficulties to go each place. But quite nice environment. Staffs and Manager are very patient on their visitors and helps kindly. Thanks To Them..

Venesia Hotel is located nearest to Batam Centre Ferry Terminal, 10mins taxi ride away. A taxi counter can be found at Batam Centre Megamall, accessible right from the ferry terminal through the link bridge on level 2. A taxi ride to Venesia costs a fixed price of 75,000 IND. We arrived at 2+pm and check-in was available immediately. The process was efficient. We had ...

-Hot water available -Best Location just next to Sedona & Nagoya Entertainment District and less than 10mins walk to Nagoya Mall -Room is clean enough especially since it's super cheap. -Staff extremely friendly and get along well. Cons - Nothing really according to price and being super budget.

I was planning a relaxing 2 nights at this location but unfortunately had to cut my trip short. I came from Singapore and it was worth the trip. It is located out of the way of busy nightlife and chaotic city life at the northeast corner of Batam island. You can go to the city, but it takes about an hour by taxi. The hotel itself is very pleasant and relaxing, and they...

Came as a group of 5. We had to spend 1 night in Batam to catch a plane early in the morning after watching Coldplay in Singapore. Been to Batam a few times but only really to cross over to Singapore as I find the island quite boring. However if I wish we could've spent more time this time around because the Ibis Styles was awesome. Heard that it was a new hotel but it...

Booked the Bungalow. The room is very spacious and newly renovated. Part of the resort is still under renovation which means some facilities are not accessible yet. When everything is up, it'll be very nice. Locationwise, we chose the hotel partly for its location - away from the crowd. It's only about 5 minutes from Senkupang Ferry Terminal (Hotel provides pickup to ...

This hotel was really awsum with a fantastic view of Batam. The hotel is situated away from the towns and roads of Batam, on a high hill which overlooks Batam. It gives alot of peacefulness. Everyone staying there are treated like vvip. Excellent and prompt service provided by hotel from top to bottom. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well facilitate. They provide you from soap, shampoo to grooming necessity like cotton bud, comb etc. Mini bar are free of charge. The villa comes with 2 private room, basic amenities and a very pretty pool. Location was near BCS mall, Sushi Teh and a small mart. Stay 2 night here. there are Blk A and Blk B. Lift is far too slow like snail. Location wise is walk-able to Nagaya Mall BUT not safe both day and night as no proper walking path and street light."Apartment" not so clean still can see spiderweb around. baby cockroaches crawling around under the carpet & sofa. Real reviews for hotels
I love everything about Batam..from the food, entertainment, shopping & also the people who are very friendly.
Batam is a place for relaxation and shopping. There is a few places u can visit. 1 of it is a spa secret in nagoya area.
A vibrant city with lots of nice restaurant and cafe to choose and not forgeting the local Indonesian dishes .
Try to bargain with taxi drivers on the costs first. Decide well and plan where you need to go and the cost.
for short trip it was ok. a bit expensive staying here rather than being in jakarta or bandung which is waaaaaaayyyyy much better.
It is like Johor Bahr but cheaper. If you enjoy cheaper groceries, massage, Malay food. A short and cheap getaway.
Beware of the taxi driver. They will offered high price per trip. So it will be better to find cab with meter rather than negotiating a price.
This Batam Island is a place where everyone must visit to relax and have great spa service at cheap price.
Massage in Batam is cheap and good! If looking for seafood, can try Harbour Bay - Wey Wey 1 Restaurant.
Great and affordable holiday trips for families with young children, great romance for couples and solo traveler looking for mood and change of environment.
If you are a non-smokers, we highly recommend you not to go Batam. Almost everyone there is smokers! And they smoke like hell.
An undeveloped island with shopping centre springing up here and there mainly for the tourist money, especially from Singapore.
The few shopping centers that must go for shopping are Batam Center Mall, Nagoya Megamall, Batam City Square Mall.
Safe Island to travel to. Avoid late night as recently many young motorists have been trying to rob ladies especially of their handbags.
A good place for a short getaway for those with a budget. Go for the massage as its much cheaper than Singapore and Malaysia.
Nice and friendly ppl, despite not all you can trust but majority are. What more I can say is massage.
Many shopping malls, great seafood and good massages can be found in Batam. There is Penuin market where you can get local titbits, wholesale items like bags, socks, hair accessories, pedi/manicure items, etc.
Batam is nice to go shopping. Prices are good, especially for electronics and gadgets. branded bags are plenty but we do not know which ones are originals and which ones are not.
A place to really chill and relax day by day. Dont feel like going back home due to the cheap living life here.
Surprisingly dirty and backward still in the city area despite years of tourism and the subsequent number of visitors each year.
I came with my hubby who had spinal injury and he walks very slowly & needs my aid most of the time. I also brought along my 8yo & 4yo boys together with my husband's friends (3 adults including 60-70yr old lady, 2 kids- 4yo girl & 1 yo boy) for this short getaway.
If you are there for shopping, 1-2 nights will be sufficient. If you want to go for spa, then another day would do.
Its a well-developed place close to Singapore. Relatively cheaper and is the ideal short-getaway for relaxation and food.
Visitors can consider go Batam Center or Nagoya for short trip. There are plenty of hotels, Spas and shopping malls.
This small island offers many services to satisfy you from head to toe. You can do your hair at Nagoya Shopping malls, body massage at Nagoya area, good food in most of the area and beauty services like pedi and mani.
noting much to see .went to the indian temple , look like any other temple in singapore and malaysya .
Nice place to relax, living costs are low. If more inhabitants can communicate with English will be more attractive.
Modern facilities are available now and more hotels coming up...Can't wait for Aston Batam to be fully completed.
Sin City and will avoid going back again!! Everything is excessively expesnive!! Better to remain and spend the money in Singapore or if not, proceed to Phuket Island / Thailand
Easy access to most areas around Nagoya Shopping Mall area. You can consider walking and avoid people calling you to take "Taxi" or "Ojek"! Depends where you plan to go to.
