Bangkok hotels & accommodations

This is my second visit since last year. Showed some improvement at receptionist counter (More attentive and polite). Check in and out was fast, paid deposit of THB2000 for 3 nights by credit card which will be refund when you check out (Hotel in Bangkok need deposit during stay, so is ok for me). Booked Luxury Room at Main Tower, rooms are spacious, clean with stable ...

Bangkok Marriott hotel The Surowongse is the Best Hotel in Bangkok...clean, comfortable, staff helpfull and take care..Bathroom hotel is great..you can shower like in the rain..Breakfast delicious expecially Thai food. like pad thai, fish ball soup..There also have chinese food , western food and japanese food yummy...Thank you Bangkok Marriott hotel The Surowongse mad...

One of my favorite hotels in Bangkok, if not, in all of Thailand. Let's consider the price first. Chances are, on most nights, you can get a high floor room here. Considering the location (Siam shopping/nightlife), and... that this is an authentic 5 star, you just won't go wrong. The only minor setback: just one restaurant in this entire (massive) hotel. But the f...

Picked this hotel out because it is 1/2 block from Central Embassy and it's amazing Food Hall Eathai. Basically used it as a place to recover from jet lag for a weekend before spring boarding to Hong Kong and Phuket. The price was very reasonable, so I wasn't expecting much. This hotel blew me away! Despite being in a great location with access to the Sky Train an...

In Dec 2008, my girlfriend and I came back to one of my favorite hotels in Bangkok for the first time in several years. It still has one of the best locations for shopping (which my girlfriend loves) and definitely the best swimming pool in all of Bangkok (which attracts me). The rooms have also been upgraded and are nicer, though smaller than before. Thus, among the 4...

I have spend Four days in Bangkok with Arnoma, Unfortunately the hotel lobby is currently under renovation, but all the facilities are still remain available...the only comments for me was..the hotel don't provide free Wifi....i hope the day when i come back the management have provide this free services..because majority of the hotel in Bangkok hotel are free WIFI......

First of all, this hotel is very luxury at a budget price. Most budget hotels in Thailand have outdated furnishings and wall hangings, but every inch of this hotel is clean, well-maintained, very luxury looking. The staff is outstanding and there is a doorman or other staff about every 20 meters of the hotel. Check-in and check-out was fast, and we even got fast servi...

My favourite hotel in Bangkok, with the perfect location for shopping both in the attached centre or if you want to take the BTS and go to all the other Malls... Facilities and rooms are both fantastic and the breakfast is the best you will get in Bangkok Hotels. The staff really look after you - this is the most perfect hotel in the best location in Bangkok. I will ...

Being only 60 - 70 meter from the electronics Mecca Pantip Plaza is a dream when in need for a new laptop, mobile, or software.... It is the location, not only for shoppers of electronics, but also textiles that makes the hotel location perfect for some. The hotel is located on top of a six floor shopping mall, in the middle of the textile market area of Pratunam...

Our stay in Bangkok was a short mini vacation to enjoy some sightseeing and shopping. We booked The Shangri-La Hotel in Bangkok after reading the reviews and the hotel is absolutely breathtaking. Hidden inside the bustling area of the city, within walking distance of the small shops and day spas, it was exactly what we were looking for. It is located along the river an...

Relaxing holiday in Avani Riverside Bangkok Hotel with friendly staff, infinity pool, rooftop bar lounge. It will be perfect if there is sauna or steam bath. Sufficient choices for breakfast with quality food. Very good Seafood Buffet on Friday. I used eatigo to book a table at 9 pm at half-price. My husband and I were the only customers at the time. Excellent value f...

Centara has 2 hotels in Bangkok, this one and Centara Grand at Great world - don't get mixed up. The one at Great World is the bigger (and more expensive) one - but there you also are facing more traffic jams. But it all depends on the purpose of your visit. I did stay in Centara Grand at Central Plaze because we had meetings in Chon Buri, Rayong and Bangkok as well - ...

The Chatrium Suites is an excellent choice in Bangkok - especially if you value the glorious river view, and enjoy the quintessential Bankok visitor experience of traveling by boat on the Chao Phraya river. If you need to frequently travel to the center of Bangkok shopping and activities, the location and boat connection may grow tiresome. Our arrival reception was g...

This hotel is a 'real' 5 star hotel. I've stayed in three 5 star hotels in Bangkok prior to Grand Centre Point. This beats them all. The staff are fun and consistently polite to guests. They play with the children interact with the guests and add a nice feel to the hotel. Breakfast had flavourful, good quality produce which was great for 320baht if you don't include ...

Enjoyed my stay with Centara Watergate and never regretted chosing this hotel for our anniversary trip! The location may be a little hard to locate so we printed an A4 sized map in thai for the taxi driver (I requested it via email). So far we are able to guide the taxi driver/tuk tuk to the hotel, you just need to remember the better known landmarks like Baiyoke Sky o...

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights while in Bangkok. The rooms are absolutely BEAUTIFUL, marble everything, great shower, nice tub for baths, free bath bombs, great feeling sheets. You definitely feel like your staying in luxury, but for such a reasonable price! The staff is very attentive and will rush to open the door for you when they see you coming back, carry al...

For those who have rated this hotel/serviced apartment complex as anything other than wonderful you are either on drugs or in urgent need of seeing a doctor. I have stayed at the Grande Centre Point (GCP) on four occasions now – total of 32 nights – and I remain convinced it is not just one of the best located (direct access to BTS, main Sukhumvit Road etc) hotels in B...

Stayed 2 times, definitely my favourit hotel in Bangkok, Sukhumvit. Close to everything, fantastic pool on the rooftop, caring staff. Special thanks to the young man who was holding the reception in the evening on Friday Thursday 22 Nov, 2018, who was so helpful with the taxi to catch the last train to the airport on this local holiday. This was higely appreciated!!

This was our first time coming to Bangkok and I was unsure of where to stay. I saw that a lot of hotels were located in Sukhumvit, so I figured they were fairly close together and booked this one based on the user ratings and price. Although, it is a very nice hotel with good rooms and well appointed, my mistake was not knowing how long it would take to get to any me...

Very nice hotel, very well managed, comfortable rooms, with good facilities and excellent airconditiong. Buffet breakfast is more than good in variety and quality. The hotel location is suitable for anybody who does not want to be in centre of the night life area, yet it is still within a short ride to Sukhomvit. Despite the hussle and bustle and the noise at the main ...

We stayed for 1 night at Novotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam for our 5th Wedding Anniversary. Absolutely the Best hotel in Bangkok we stayed so far - compared to the other 4 Stars and 5 Stars hotel we stayed before; from the Superb location, amazing customer service and hospitality from hotel entrance till lounge at 24th floor, very comfortable accommodation, tasty food ...

In my opinion, the lebua is one of the best hotels in Bangkok. Although we did only stay there for one night, we enjoyed the stay very much. The room was huge, with a big bed, couches and complimentary minibar. The room attendant was very professional and caring. As we did arrive too late in the evening to get to the tower club lounge, we were provided with compliment...

The staff are incredibly nice which makes this hotel a pleasant stay. The rooms are not as good as I thought they would be, already a bit dated which was surprising since most reviews said it was a new hotel. The breakfast was the most disappointing part, again weird because all the reviews said it was so great. The coffee in the restaurant really needs to change, it w...

I enjoyed the stay at the Continent. It clearly follows a successful formula for Bangkok of providing a sophisticated product that comes across as having all the frills. The staff we genuinely hospitable and very efficient and professional and were helpful throughout which is a standard for all the better hotels in Bangkok. Ftether than that I would say my experience ...

It is so hard to pick just one outstanding feature of this Chatrium property because it excels in all respects. I have been a guest at several 4 and 5-Star hotels in Bangkok and the Chatrium Residence Sathorn stands out from them all with the abundance of landscaping and flowers found around the property and especially around the large park setting which surrounds th...

Stayed 2 nights and have no complaints. Some minor details to point out: Breakfast menu is very basic. Coffeemakers are a great idea but need to be adjusted to cup sizes (serves quarter or half cup only). Staff is very friendly and accomodating and rooms are very clean. Bathroom fixtures are top of the notch, not what you can expect in a Bangkok Hotel of this price ran...
Cheap places to stay in Bangkok

Location is good, near Phetchaburi soi 5 and 10. The hostel is situated in a small alley. I arrived at about 12MN and the only way to get in is to call the staff. My SIM card allows data only so I am unable to call, I had ask a few locals and one of them finally helped to call the staff to open for me. I was quite flustered by then, and the staff came down all sleepy-f...

I reached early in morning whereas check in time is 12 noon but staff is very amazing and friendly. They allotted me bed by 10am. With best price per night, they also offer free breakfast. Another plus is free dinner on Saturdays. Location of the hostel is good as it is near to bus stop, Ratchaprarop Sky train and Pratunam market. Moreover, this hostel has a chart wit...

I loved the place a lot. It was clean, cool, and with some of the best beds I had in Thailand. The free breakfast was the best way to start a day of exploring. The staff was also extremely helpful for almost any need. The only minor downside is that they turn off the AC from around 11am to 7pm, so if you wanna down a lazy day idling in the room it's gets definitively ...

Small dirty toilets, but good value for money. Wouldn't recommend it if it's ur first time in Bangkok because the staff doesn't know anything at all. They won't take call. I got lost I tried calling but they didn't pick up the call it was a huge trouble to find the place. They told me to use cabs for going everywhere because there ain't no BTS or busses in the area...

It's like an old car, you appreciate the little imperfections, but it drives perfectly and the mechanic is your best friend. This hostel is right in the heart of where you want to be during your stay in Bangkok. It's affordable, the GM Paul and his crew are incredibly friendly and helpful (truly you can ask them anything and they will help). They are there to look out ...

Overstay is located in a residential neighbourhood that has proximity tourist sites, but is very authentically native Bangkok. Walk in one direction to find nighttime street food markets and in another to find a Bangkok supermall. The building itself fits the character of the surrounding neighbourhood, but with plenty of its own twists. It's a 6 floor (sorry, no el...

Good value. AC 7pm-9am, hot shower, small locker by the reception to put valuables. Not sparkling clean but it's ok. Really liked the coconut chicken soup in the restaurant. Wouldn't recommend the travel agency, 600B for a not so good bus to Chiang Mai, left us 15km from town in a gaz station. Had to hitchike my way to the center at 6am to avoid the rip off taxi wait...

It's nice being a 10 minute walk away from Khao San Road, far enough to avoid the noise but close enough to stagger back after some drinks. The guys who work there are super helpful with finding things to do and best ways to get around. The girls who work there aren't really people persons, but they're alright. Breakfast was nice, nothing special: juice, white and whea...

I've been travelling for 3 months and I must say this is the hostel with the best staff! The staff is amazing! They help you so so so so much! He is Italian and she is Thai and they are both so amazing! I mean I cannot reccomend this hostel enough! It's pretty close to the train station, it is a bit hard to find the hostel but you'll get used to it. I was only suppose...

Its strategically hidden in a secluded residential alley which gives you the homey vibe and peace away from the bustling city of Bangkok. It gives me this just chilling at home feeling. I stayed for 10 days to be exact and i really dont wanna leave. No honks of cars no noisy backpackers street no sound system. Only chirp of birds and sight of running squirrels each an...

All pros with this place. Great staff, very attentive and helpful. Staff speaks English well so not much of a language barrier. They can also tell you how to get around the city, hire drivers for trips to Koh Chang and surrounding attractions and get-aways. Nithinan that works there is the best. I would stay here again and recommend it. The only thing I would say that ...

I gave 5 stars in every category except location and staff. I want to give those 5 stars as well, but need to be fair because 1) even though it's a 7 minute walk to the On Nut station, in the heat of the day it feels like hours. 2) some staff are so friendly and some are cold as ice... The inconsistency is disappointing because of how awesome this place is! Lastly, I...

Give me 3 days to say all good things about this hostel. Here is AMAZING. Really nice hostel manager and staff (thank you so much mates xx) You could meet loads of nice people from all around the world here. I just stayed in here 2 nights but this is the best hostel that I have been in Bangkok. 7-10 mins to go to Khaosan Road on foot and it is quite near to take a wate...

The place is great for such a low price. Was really impressed with the size and comfort of the beds, best I have experienced in a hostel and a hotel for that matter. The room is a decent size. The staff made my experience great. Got tons of insider tips from the morning and afternoon female staff. They did have one male staff who didn't seem to know much but the owner ...

Siam Journey is a cozy place in busy Bangkok. Has a big common area with Sofas and Movienights, also a kitchen and fridge to use and of course waterrefill. It is located in a backstreet thats why its really quiet. But you have everything near, many 7/11 but also a nice Foodstreet and of course th best Pat-Thai-Location in Bangkok(Trip-Adviser) . They also make some Gam...

Love my stay here. I initially struggled finding the place cause it seems near Khao San, well it is but not that near. I love the stay I had here. I booked the bus service from Bangkok to Siem Reap and I felt I should have been informed that Cambodians are ripping people off at the border. I should have known these scams earlier. More than that, I’ve had a really pl...

if you don't need amazing comfort, this hotel is ideal. although the rooms aren't decked out in luxury, the price you pay is fair. probably the best location in the old city with nearby shops, restaurants, venders, bars, atm's and 7/11 all on the one road. runs parallel to khao san which is 2 minutes by foot. great for shopping mostly. but with little to no noise p...

Stayed here with my partner, after spending few nights near Khao San, to see the city side of Bangkok. Location was good as there are many places to eat around and the BTS stop is round the corner. Using the BTS you can get to the malls and Lumphini park easily and quickly (also next to here is the snake farm which I would definitely recommend). We stayed in the small ...

Mad Cow Hostel was simply amazing. Still under renovations, but nevertheless very comfortable, safe, social and in a prime location (walking distance to MRT and BTS stations). A perfect place to socialize and make new friends. The staff were absolutely amazing. They helped me plan my entire Itinerary in Bangkok, and were able to answer any questions I had. Highly recco...

Being first time to visit Bangkok, GN Luxury Hostel gave me and my family a very memorable stay in Bangkok. The room is clean, spacious and very affordable. The staff were all nice, friendly and can speak and understand english. They also serve good breakfast and it is walking distance from BTS station and night markets. I will surely recommend this hostel to all m...

The manager who presented herself as owner was having problems with another guy who also claimed to be the owner. She sold everything haphazardly before their showdown took place. She also sold the lockers knowing fully well there was something inside owned by the guest - that's me! I had to call the police and do a hunt for my laptop which was inside the locker. I ev...

The owner was nice and very hospitable. The location is very good and accessible coz it's just located near BTS station and market which is very important for travelers or back packers like us. Free breakfast is not important or necessary but it's a plus. I love the coffee, though. You're assured that each room is safe and the owner were able to manage the customers...

This hostel is great in Bangkok, I've stayed at it before and I came back because I liked it so much. It has a homey feel because of the way it is decorated with a great common room space! The dorms are a little tight for room, but it is manageable if you are in one of the rooms that has more beds. Nice and close to khao San but not directly in the khaos (ha ha). Great...

As a Chinese which come to Thailand to collecting something, the kindly staff they are cleaning the hostel everywhere and it is really clean. I would personally recommend here as a starting point for you to travel in Bangkok if you didn't not care about the mix dorm

A regular visitor to Thailand I stayed in the excellent Ambassador Hotel on Soi 11off Sukhumvit this time. I say excellent because the standard is exactly how a €40+ per night 4 star in Bangkok should be.The Ambassador is a big property with many amenities. The reception area is huge and the staff are friendly and efficient. My luggage was taken from the Taxi and appea...

We have stayed in several hotels in Bangkok, but this is the best one among them. All staffs were well trained and professionals. The room was very clean. The kitchen with the washing machine was so useful. Breakfast was also very good, and satisfactory. The facility like the swimming pool and sauna were sufficient enough though they were not as gorgeous as the one...

It was one of the best options in Bangkok for my requirements, Bangkok nightlife it is. Pros: - The hotel is rather high, so if you book a room on a floor 15+ you would have a good view on Bangkok; - both hotel towers have their own pool zones that are not on the ground level, which is also good; - the sky rail is easily accessible, about 2 minutes walk from the hotel...

I really enjoyed my stay here and am already booked to go back two times. This hotel is a splurge for me since I am traveling for a year but I still think it's a great value and so nice to have a modern clean cool room to come back to in Bangkok. After not having wifi for 3 weeks I literally sat in my room and got caught up with my writing and planning. I did think the...

This was a great hotel for the price. It's new and spotless clean. The rooms were spacious.Bathrooms very nice. Loved the pool and steam room. We checked out and stayed for the afternoon by the pool, had a shower and left for the airport(230 baht by meter along Sukhimvit,On Nut and Lad Prao...no tollway) If you know Bangkok the distance from tourist sites is no problem,1...

I plan to return to Siri Sathorn before I leave Thailand and will make it a base for future visits to Bangkok. Quiet location, but easy walk to shopping, nightlife, Saladaeng Station and beautiful Lumpini Park. You can get a free shuttle too. All staff were very attentive, helpful and delightful. When my adaptor caused a fuse to blow, repairmen arrived within a cou...

This was our second stay at Viva Gardens and again we were impressed by this well run hotel. Check in was straightforward, and our studio was very spacious. The room even afforded a good view of the New Year riverside fireworks. We had no disappointments at all with this hotel. The facilities such as swimming pool and gym are the best we have experienced in Bangkok ...

i think this is one of the best hotels in bangkok in the very affordable range. the rooms are very spacious, even with kitchennette facilities. sauna, steamer and pool are simply great. massage facilities have very professional people working there (probably the best massage we had in thailand). and, most importantly, there buffet breakfast is absolutely delicious and ...

Upon booking in a the hotel, front desk informed me that my Cool room was not available but they upgraded my room to a Studio room for the full 3 days at NO charge. This is definitely my favorite hotel in Bangkok for now. The location is perfect - right on Silom road, close to BTS. Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The locked balcony is a bit disappointing but I think this is a kind of government "recommendations". The bathroom looks cool with those glass walls. Good service. No annoying phone calls before the checkout. Hou...

This hotel was recommended to me by an acquaintance. Even though there are Bangkok hotels which looked more impressive through my research, thought I'd just trust the first hand experience for myself and book Asia Hotel. I would say Asia Hotel is the finest hotel and value for money I have ever stayed. 5 star service. Staff are patient and willing to go the extra mile....

I;ve stayed in 35 different hotels in Bangkok, some expensive, some cheap, but this is the best value Hotel of them all. It is'nt the most modern, it doesn't have the wow factor when you walk in, but the rooms are huge and very comfortable, it is very clean and the breakfast is one of the best I have had in Bangkok, what more do you need !

After two weeks of vacationing in Thailand, this was our last hotel. We started out in Bangkok staying at the Centre Point Silom. We are convinced that you can't go wrong with Centre Point hotels in Bangkok. For starters the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgable. And all smiles. We were taken to and courteously shown around our room which was beaut...

For our first time in Bangkok, we booked this hotel through Agoda. From the size and cleanliness of the rooms, to the beautiful pool and gym facilities. Everything was perfect. We were hoping to get a double bed and a bathtub in ...

Mercure at Bangkok is just next to the BTS National Stadium, MBK shoopping mall is next door. One of the best located hotels in Shopping district of Bangkok. Hotel was clean and had a modern feel. The service and support from the staff is excellent. Definitely come back next time.

I am not writing a big review, because it was my third time in this hotel. Actually it was fourth, but first time was a years ago and only for day. Definitely next time if I go Bangkok, I will book this hotel. Everything was good - friendly and helpful staff, everything was clean and basically every day renewed things what actually dont need - like washing/changing po...

We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam hotel. The room was beautiful, clean, and simple. This is my second visit since last year. Showed some improvement at receptionist counter (More attentive and polite). Booked Luxury Room at Main Tower, rooms are spacious, clean with stable ...

I will ...

Ftether than that I would say my experience ...

i would rated this as one of the best hotel in bangkok. Check in was very smooth and we have been upgraded. The check in was done in the suite. The room is big and clean with lot of space and spectacular view from the balcony. Staffs are politely trained, being really informative and helpful. This is my 3rd stay at this hotel and I can say with confidence that this is the best hotel in Bangkok. I had several needs that this hotel quickly accomodated. We needed to book some tickets to Siam Niramit and I inquired at the front desk, next thing I know we were booked and they wanted to give us directions which I already had. This is a soup to nuts hotel, if you ...

We choose 137 pillars residence for our last night stay in Bangkok before flying back home and we were so happy with our choice. We stayed in a one bedroom residence, first we wanted to book a suite but the residence was totally fine, much better than we expected, we were on 22th floor and there was a small balcony with stunning view over Bangkok. It was very beautiful...

Choosing a hotel in Bangkok is not easy since there are hundreds of options. We visited Bangkok as first-time tourists and we stayed first in Arcadia Suites Phloen Chit for 1 night but we are not satisfied with the location, so we decided to transfer here in Eastin Hotel Sathorn for 2 nights. Location is convenient because it is just right there in Surasak BTS. This is...

In terms of location, the hotel is little bit off the "hot spots" of Bangkok, so you need to take subway westward one stop (16 baht) to Silom or eastward 3 stops (20 baht) to Sukhumvit for all the shopping and dinning experience. The best part of the hotel is its in room amenities. You've got carpet, bed reading light, extra pillows, separate shower/bath tube, variou...

me and my friend were looking for something cool and edgy boutique hotels in bangkok and found this one on the internet. this was the least expensive hotel among the 3 hotels we stayed in thailand (the other 2 are grande centre point and intercontinental resort hua hin). to our surprise, the room size is huge with all the necessary in-room facilities that u need. e...

my first stay at the royal benja in bangkok, probably my seventh or eighth visit to bangkok. of the hotels i've stayed at, i'd pick royal benja over all of them (except perhaps the j.w. marriott, but that hotel is in a radically different price range). it is conveniently located, about 2 blocks off sukhumvit rd, and about 3-4 blocks from the nana bts station so get...

we originally booked a studio room, but on our arrival (at about 8am) we asked for an early check in. there were no studio rooms available so, for an extra ฿1,000, we were upgraded to a 2 bed suite. nice! all the rooms had separate air con, we had a living room, two bathrooms, a kitchen (with cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine/dryer) and a small b...

Real reviews for hotels
Bangkok is a huge city and there are a lot of landmarks that are a must see: grand palace, wats (budhist temples), markets,.
I love Bangkok, SPA and shopping are very nice! But the taxi drivers are really disappointed... Though we can meet 1-2 good driver.
Bangkok is a capital City in Thailand .Normal Situation when Traffic Jam.There are many Shopping Center in Bangkok.
One of the capital city that travelers would visit. there are a variety of activity to do here such as shopping, sight seeing on Thai culture, night life, etc.
Bangkok is indeed vast and it really takes more than 5 nights to explore Bangkok. There are many attractions to go to.
Nice place cheap shopping for clothes but the downside is many Thais don't know how to speak and understand the English language.
Places must visit: Safari world. Try to limit walking under sunshine as Bangkok is always sunny and not so good for human skin.
Despite the crowds, local people are extremely friendly and courteous. The food is sensational and very reasonable.
Bangkok need a better clean air plan to improve daily smoke from daily bus transportation to Tuk Tuk (a small tricycle motors cap).
SE Asian jewel. Fantastic culture and people. Great fun after dark. A foodie heaven ! For the missus: shop 'til you drop.
Is a hot sunny place. Recommended to wear anything loose with not too thick material. If you are not into street stalls, Bangkok has good, clean foodcourts at shopping centers but food dishes are quite sweet though.
A city that's very "tourist orientated" if you are not local then you are bound to be over charged one way or another but still a great place to go.
I ALWAYS GO TO BANGKOK EVERY YEAR BECAUSE I ENJOY THE FOOD, SHOPPING AND PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY. STREET FOOD IS A MUST TRY BEC IT IS CLEAN AND DELICIOUS!
what a diverse place and so big you can spend weeks and not see all. ChatuChak markets to all the different shopping and dining areas great place
A lively city and with good transportation consisting of MRT and BTS networks. Locals are friendly and most are able to speak English.
I would certainly recommend visiting Wat Arun, Wat Traimin and Wat Pho with the reclining buddha. Take the expressboat over the river to get to any location easier and faster than over the road with a taxi.
No one speaks english well, and 99% do not speak it at all. Very hot and crowded, smoky. Transportation bad, liked the train though.
friendly thai people, good food, cheap shopping, massages attracts me to return every once in a while
I like the city as it is easily accessible via Skytrain and subway. Just that you need to prepare yourself to be squeezed in the Skytrain, but after awhile, you will get used to it.
Bangkok is a busy city... Not really relaxing. However there are a lot of things to do, see and experience!
Amazing Shopping paradise and foods. Easily accessible to most grand shopping malls and temples. Great traditional massage parlours and friendly Thai people around.
A buzzing, frenetic city. Brilliant transport around the city. Great shopping, markets and street food!
People are friendly.Nice food, easy to move with BTS Sky train and MRT and alot of good shopping mall
nice city, have manny shopping center with low price, good food,,transportation is good with sky train(BTS,MRT)
Amazing place for nightlife and shopping. The price for everything here is reasonable. Japanese food, culture and comic is developed here as well.
Bangkok is really a shopping haven. Cheap and some are good quality. Try to take BTS or MRT which is very convenient to go anywhere.
Bangkok is like a second home to me. I will always fly there every chance I get. I think this beautiful city is underrated.
Amazing city. Everything you are looking for you can find it here, prob even things you don't know that you want just yet.
A wonderful array of activities. Do lots of research before you go so you don't miss out on anything.
I have been to Bangkok 8 times now and done completely different things every time. An ever growing and changing city that still offers a look into another time.

Practical Travel Information for First-Time Visitors
Traveling to Bangkok for the first time? Here are some essential tips to ensure a smooth experience. First, familiarize yourself with local customs and etiquette. Thais are known for their politeness, so a friendly smile and a respectful greeting can go a long way. When visiting temples, dress modestly, covering your shoulders and knees, as a sign of respect. It’s also customary to remove your shoes before entering temple grounds or someone’s home.
Safety is generally not a concern in Bangkok, but it’s always wise to stay alert, especially in crowded areas. Keep your belongings secure, and be cautious when using public transport at night. Learning a few basic Thai phrases can enhance your experience and help you connect with locals. Simple greetings like “Sawasdee” (hello) and “Khop Khun” (thank you) are appreciated.
Lastly, pack accordingly for the tropical climate. Lightweight, breathable clothing is ideal, along with comfortable shoes for walking. Don’t forget essentials like sunscreen and insect repellent, especially if you plan to explore outdoor attractions. With these practical tips in mind, you’re well on your way to enjoying all that Bangkok has to offer.
