"I have stayed in this hotel more than 5 times. In general, the staff are attentive, friendly and warm. For example; I was greeted by name before checking in. Everything runs with a system. Not much waiting required. I have stayed in 7 different 4* hotels in Bali and this is by far one of the best value for money and comfortable one. Located in a quieter spot in seminyak but 10 minutes drive from seminyak square. I like that because you don't hear loud music or traffic. Walls are generally thin so if your room is near the lift lobby, you can hear conversations or footsteps. Pick a room further away from the lift if you are a light sleeper. Service staff are generally nice and warm. They will provide assistance in a jiffy without having to wait Long. I avoid breakfast in the hotel not because it's not good but I love to venture cafes. The breakfast selection in the hotel is decent. "

"This is the only hostel which I stayed longer (2 nights) in the duration of my travel. The dates of stay were booked separately. I was greeted with friendly hostel staffs. Free flowing water, coffee, and tea which I did not get with other hostels in Bali. Complimentary single glazed doughnut at Dough Darlings. The pool is tempting. The dorm room is cleaned everyday but it gets messier in the later day coz of cluttered bags in the floor. AC unit is really cold. Location of hostel is minutes walk to the beach. There is a cheap warung beside it. There is a bike rental but I did not go for it since I was too scared to drive in a busy and pressuring rural area. Kanpai!"

"Room rates are affordable and I can say that Neo is better than its sister Fave Hotel (also by Aston). Location is okay. Unlike other beach destinations in the Southeast, Bali is huge and you get to places via motorbike/taxi. You can go by foot but it's too tiring if traveling with infant/kids. For families, Neo's location, Seminyak is a great place to stay because it's more quiet. The staff are very friendly and attentive to our needs. Our bidet was leaking but they fixed it right away after we called housekeeping. Price wise, NEO is a budget hotel but the facilities could match a three star one. I love that it has a mini coffee/tea bar, fridge and a swimming pool (things that other budget hotels don't have). Needs Improvement: There was a cigarette butt at the kiddie pool. Please put signs that smoking is not allowed, at least at the kiddie pool area. There was mosquito in our room. Not sure how it got there since the windows were closed. Please improve food selection/menu at the buffet. I'll definitely recommend NEO to my friends."

"The best hostel in Bali, I have stayed in this hostel for 2 months, it's always fun and always makes new friends from all over the world, equipped in the kitchen so you can cook, there are three computers that you can use, a large living room and a large television make you comfortable to watch your favorite movie, A nice rooftop with a very beautiful view of Bali, to chat with your friends, cool air conditioners are very clean rooms and have a large loocker to store your bags and valuables, The toilets are very clean, because this hostel has a 24-hour cleaning service, so makes everything clean and comfortable, Very fast Wi-Fi, The bed is very comfortable, complete with 2 pillows and a thick blanket and there is a coat hanger in your capsule and not forgetting the very friendly and kind staff (Vinsen, Jessica, Denys, Sophie, Rosa, Dek ayu, Bobie, Esa, Ariyasa, Bli Joni, Dipa, Andre, Rei,) they were amazing, made me feel at home in this hostel for 2 months and I decided to stay longer "

"Swissbel's location is on pettitenget street where you can find many many chic cafes and upper class restaurant with a unique view like paddy's field, sun flower field, etc. What I love the most from this hotel is the paddy's field view specially during morning breakfast time, the view just simply awesome and relaxing and breakfast with paddy's field view is amazing!!! I can sit the whole day just to see the view ;) Room is comfortable and clean and value for money. If you looking for hotel's location near the stretch of Jalan Kayu Aya where you can find shopping mall like seminyak square, boutiques, bars, cafes such as sisterfields, revolver coffee, etc, or famous restaurant like Ultimo, The Bali Cafe, Batik, etc, then you should NOT consider this hotel because it quite a distance to reach there, 15 minutes at least by motorcycle or even more if you driving or taking cab as traffic is quite bad near Jalan Raya Kerobokan or Jalan Kayu Aya or sometimes at Jalan Sunset Road. It will be more convenience to rent motorcycle to go around if staying in hotel at Petitengget area including Swissbel Hotel. Anyway, all is good ;) and we both has amazing time here in Bali ;) Love you Bali more and more, definitely come back for another trip!!"

"I was impressed with the cleanliness - it was spotless. In my 8 nights there I did not see a single mosquito or spider so I was pleased about that. The air conditioner was fantastic as was the free WiFi - either on my own device or the computer they have available for guests to use. The linen was completely changed every day - not just tidied up. The room had everything I needed - the safe was fantastic, and although the shower was small that is a minor thing, but I would advise taking your own shower gel as they supply soap. The staff were fantastic, they were friendly and helpful to the point of nothing being too much trouble. The pool was great - clean and cold. The food in the restaurant is really nice and reasonably priced - I heard the pasta on pasta night was the best pasta my family had ever eaten. The hotel has a money changer that is regularly on site and I would recommend using them instead of risking the local money changers. I was never interrupted by noise and enjoyed the range of TV channels available. The on-site spa has well priced treatments and were enjoyed. On the down side the towels were a little scratchy but that's minor. The hotel is a little difficult for drivers to access as the street is very narrow, but they managed. Everything I needed was close by the hotel - just across the road is a laundry, deli (for bottled water etc) Ted's bar. Just around the corner is Warung Kapung ( cheap yummy food - please try the Mie Goreng and fruit juice all up $2.50 AUD) and on the corner to the Warung is a shop run by an elderly gentleman who has great souvenirs at a really good price. I plan to stay at this hotel again when I go back to Bali later this year."

"This was my 1st time at Champlung Mas after lots of times to Bali and I will definitely go back and stay again. I went with a girlfriend who has been many times also and she loved it as well. There are 2 swimming pools with one being on top of hotel. The only suggestion I would make is if they could please put a ladder in this pool as older people like myself have a hard time getting out, other pool is no problem. Rooms are large and the bathroom is the largest I have seen there. Nice big bench top and shower recess as well as shower over the bath. Handy to everything as just off Melasti Street. If you love Thai food Lemongrass restaurant is just around the corner. Front counter staff lovely and friendly. For the money it has been the best place I have stayed in Bali"

"We felt so lucky that this hotel had a room available for us to stay. It is newly built (1 year old approximately), the staff is very attentive and service minded. Especially Arvan in the reception was really nice to talk to and very helpful with scooter rental and such. Just all round a really good experience, lacking absolutely nothing. We are definetely coming back sometime and would recommend the place to anyone who wants a solid four star hotel experience to go here. PS: dont let the “five star” mark of other hotels fool you. We tried the Le Grande Bali, which claimed to be five stars, but compared to the Swiss, it was nothing. The Swiss delivers everything it promises in their four stars, and more if you ask us."

During this time, the weather is warm and sunny, making it perfect for exploring Bali's beaches, temples, and other attractions. If you're looking to save money on your Bali trip, consider visiting during the low season, which runs from November to March. While you may experience some rain during this time, the island is less crowded, and you can find great deals on hotels and flights.

Another must-try dish is Babi Guling, which is a roasted suckling pig that is seasoned with a blend of spices and herbs. If you're looking for something sweet, try Bali's famous black rice pudding, which is made with coconut milk, palm sugar, and black rice. And if you're feeling adventurous, try some of the island's more exotic dishes, such as Sate Lilit, which is a spicy fish satay, or Bebek Betutu, which is a slow-cooked duck dish.
