I would definitely recommend this property if you do not mind the slope!”

Things I like
The scenery around the location and the views on the train ride every day in and out of Wengen from Lauterbrunnen. It added some 15 to 20 minutes total travel time each way but is totally worth it. We have a private section of a much bigger multi-level house. It's bright and clean and well designed with good quality and plenty of storage for clothing. The backyard has a view of the Lauterbrunnen Valley and the peaks around it.
Things I don’t like
Event though the distance would be considered reasonable, the steep upslope at its elevation to get to the train station every day is tough for most people. Taxi ride to and from the train station will be around 25 euros each way for the short distance. I managed without the taxi as I have to stop to take so many pictures every day on the same route out and back, it helped mentally and physically.

Things I like
The apartment was clean, spacious, and well equipped. There is a large outside area with grass, a covered porch, and lots of seating, with a great view. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat in a few times during our stay. Ruth was friendly and ensured we were enjoying our stay. It is in a great, quiet location, and we felt right at home.
Things I don’t like
A plusher bathroom towel would elevate the comfort of the stay. Personally I would have liked a firmer pillow. Do not let these minor things stop you from booking here!

Things I like
A very well decorated and clean apartment only 590mt downhill from train station . Yes there is a hill to walk up to station but amazing views and large private garden make up for that. Very friendly hosts and great base.

Amazing experience in Wengen”

Things I like
The owners have provided everything you could need in an apartment and it felt like we were home. Arrival and departure were both very well organized - owners are very professional and also friendly. There is a fully functioning kitchen that includes fridge, dishwasher, cupboards filled with quality cooking and serving stuff. There is a washer and dryer you can use for 5 CHF. The garden in the pictures is in fact your own private garden and we took advantage of it every day, even a bbq night! I would totally come back here. not to mention, the apartment and surroundings were impeccably clean. the apartment is about 8 mins walking distance from train station and includes going up and down a ramp, not a problem for us but something worth mentioning. you could fit 3 people here easily, it’s a 1 bedroom apartment but the couch in the living room is a sofa.
Things I don’t like
I could have used more towels, it’s a bit hard to dry out the towels in the apartment. but that can be fixed easily.
