This resort has a beautiful setting outside Chachagua and 15 km from La Fortuna city center and 32 km from Arenal Volcano.       Chachagua was a great experience. I rented a car and drove from San Jose and the only part that was tricky was the last few miles. The GPS took us on a crazy road full of river rocks so I wasn’t sure if it was the correct way.. but it was! The entire stay was super relaxing. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Nathan at the bar was so funny & kind and The restaurant staff really made the stay memorable! On the last morning there was a crazy rainstorm and it was beautiful! I would definitely stay here again!

      Das Hotel befindet sich etwas abgelegen von der nächst größeren Stadt ca 30 Minuten von La Fortuna. Bei Ankunft muss man die Koffer über mehrere Treppen hoch schleppen. Also definitiv nicht behindertengerecht!!! Das Frühstück wird als Buffet angeboten Eier Pancakes Reis Bohnen Ananas Papaya und Müsli-sprich Standard-aber der Kaffee ist gut! Außergewöhnlich an dem Hotel ist, dass es mitten im Regenwald liegt und vom Hotel aus wandern reiten Naturführungen und vieles mehr angeboten wird. Für Aktionfreunde ideal, für Naturliebhaber der Wahnsinn! Einziges echtes Manko für mich, kein Föhn, kein Kühlschrank, kein Fernseher am Zimmer und da es abends ab 18 Uhr dunkel ist bleibt nur das eine Restaurant .
