Where to stay in Cebu City
Cebu City hotels & accommodations

This was the third hotel I stayed at during my visit to Cebu City and by far my favorite. (The other two being Sarrosa Hotel and the Mandarin Hotel, both pale in contrast to Crown Regency). I liked the polite and attentive staff, the western build quality of the property, the location, the immense nearby shopping, food, and nightlife. The rooms are extremely nice. Th...

Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino is by far one of the best hotels in Cebu, and perhaps even in the Philippines. The rooms are quite spacious and classy. It is fully carpeted and the bed is huge and very comfortable. But the best asset of the hotel is the entertainment readily available to the hotel guests. To top it all, the hotel houses one of the best casino...

We stayed in this hotel overnight in Cebu City before going to the Shangri La. We used the Quest as a base to visit the (few) historical attractions, the fort, Jesuit house, Yap Sandiago house and Casa Gororda. The historical sights are just a short taxi ride away from the hotel, and definitely worth doing to get an insight in to the local culture before stepping it to...

We stayed here for 4 days in End of September. We had a good stay. Its just a foodwalk to ayala. The room was clean and the breakfast was a real surprise. Very fresh foods.. even the omelette with different choices was made individual on demand. We surely stay again here, when we are in cebu city

I have stayed at this hotel many times before when in Cebu City. I always feel comfortable and the staff are always efficient. Both times I stayed this trip i was given an upgrade room. That starts you off happily. The facilities are excellent. Lovely pool, great fitness room. It is so close to Ayala centre. It really is still one of the best hotels in cebu city at th...

I liked the Pillows hotel because the staff is so very friendly, kind, and helpful to someone like me who is not familiar with the Phils; therefore I shall place the Pillows on my list of favorite hotels in Cebu City... I loved that the breakfast was included with the room... Thanks Pillows !!!

The garden hotel is not top-notch, but it qualifies as one of he best in Cebu coz there are other advantages. Spacious areas, large rooms, very friendly staff, and good food at the restaurant, even the breakfast meny has improved considerably. The pool side is always inviting, few other hotels in Cebu City can offer such a facility

We have stayed at the Hotel Elizabeth numerous times over the past few years. The rooms are clean, spacious and loaded with needed amenities. I feel this is one of the best managed hotels in the area. They are extremely courteous and helpful to everyone. Their security is top notch. The new Chef (as of 1/2017) was an excellent choice as the food is well prepared and th...

among the four and five star hotels in cebu city, this one may be best, if the others offer comparable rates(rates alter), this one is your best choice. the staff is very hospital as you would expect in the philippines. the rooms are spacious and clean. as located in cebu city, it is far from the beaches but also much cheaper than comparable hotels located at beaches....

This hotel is good! From its services to its staff, I was generally satisfied. I can somehow identify some downsides, one is reaching its location from the airport, especially if you arrive at a later time of the day. The traffic is just so overwhelming that it will make your butt heat off while waiting inside the taxi. So I advice fellow travellers to arrive in Cebu b...

The Main is an excellent hotel and I'd recommend this hotel 'in the blink of an eye' to anyone planning on staying in Cebu City. The room was clean, smelt awesome, was big and well designed. Staff were most obliging. The hotel was within walking distance of a great mall with excellent food outlets. Taxis take you to the Ayala Centre in about 10mins and the hotel is abo...

It's was our first time in Cebu City. My friend & I wanted a hotel that's very close to the mall, restaurants, and easy access to public transport. Tune hotel is right choice. It's near the Ayala Center & the Public Transport Terminal. The hotel was clean, well maintained, & friendly staff. The toiletries & towels were placed on a string bag. What I like also of this h...

My hotel experience was generally great. The room was spacious and clean. The personnel were professional and very accommodating. The hotel location is perfect if you're visiting Cebu City for vacation. The hotel is a spitting distance to malls, convenience stores, restaurants, bars, fastfood chains, massage spas and almost everything. My room was so conducive for s...

Our stay in Marco Polo is quite memorable and nice experience... before we usually stayed in Shangrila Mactan and Hilton... meaning whenever we are at Cebu, we always in the part of Lapu-lapu city.. its our first time in city itself.. we always wondering whats the building on the top of the mountain overlooking cebu city. we found out that its Marco Polo Hotel now but ...

so happy to discover this cute hotel in cebu city. it is very clean, spacious and new. the location is perfect. there's a convenience store, nuat thai, coffee place and restos in the same building. the staff are very accommodating and helpful too. will definitely stay here again!

our favorite hotel in cebu city, we will definitely come again. rooms fronting main road are noisy all night, so we were moved to a room at back of building, and found it quiet and very comfortable. staff are nice, speak good english, are very well trained in hotel service, and make a point to remember your name. in all a professionally run budget hotel, no frills but...

My family and I went to Cebu City for three days, we stayed at Wellcome Hotel as recommended by one of my colleagues. Our stay in the hotel, I must say very comfortable and very convenient, the staff are very friendly and generously attending our needs, esp. when we arrived early than hotel booking, the Front Desk Lady was very accommodating and super nice, she explain...

After staying in about 20 Cebu City hotels, we can say with authority, that this is one of the very best hotels in Cebu. It has very good staff to serve you in the restaurant and at breakfast, and such comfortable, spacious, clean beds. The only surprise was, that along with the Mandarin Plaza Hotel, of 20 Cebu City hotels, the room bar-fridge was not stocked with any ...

I love Uncle Tom's Cabin hotel! I initially booked for 1 night when I arrived in Cebu City and I just wanted a place to rest before going to Bantayan the following morning at 8AM. But before checking out, I decided to book in this same hotel before I fly back to Manila from my 3d2n Bantayan trip. Everything is great here! :) Check-in was fast, the room was great - I ...

We stay here at least one time during our travels around Cebu Island; it is our base in Cebu City. The Mountain View Luxe room is quiet, clean and comfortable, but be aware that the rooms are not large in this hotel, however they are spacious enough for short stays. Plenty of very good places to eat in the hotel vicinity. Staff are warm and welcoming. Buffet breakfast ...

To start with, the entire staff at S Hotel treats you in the manner of a 5 star Hotel. They are very agreeable, attentive and kind. This includes everyone from the front desk, to the security personnel, to Housekeeping. One of the housekeeping staff named Helbert made a beautiful heart from towels on me and my fiance's bed; he decorated it with our pictures and made us...

we booked our room at the sarrosa international hotel and residential suites for the sinulog festival in cebu city, and was treated to a an up close surprise celebration put together by the hotel staff it was such a wonderful treat and was deeply enjoyed by my wife and myself. we will be back next year to take part in this celebration again.
Cheap places to stay in Cebu City

Overall very happy with my stay! +ve: Very clean. Very friendly staff, Rose handled my check-in very well! Wifi is blisteringly fast! Nice cosy common area, with kettle, coffee percolator. Good air-con. Pod space good and clean with power socket, light and fan. Pod lockable, good for keeping valuable...

This place is ideally located just next to the Fuente in cebu city. It is a very convenient location to go anywhere in Cebu city. I had my own room, but shared bathroom and common area, which I thought would be ideal since part of my trip there was to get to know the place and people. Shared common area naturally facilitates chatting with other people there. However, s...

If you are traveling on a tight budget this place is the best. I stayed in this hostel for 2 weeks while taking a Korean Language Training in Nala Cebu. The place is clean, affordable, and safe. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They keep our room clean. It is located a few steps from St. Therese Church. It's a 5 to 8 minutes walk to JY Mall. This hostel is located...

The place is in the heart of the city so everything is so accessible Not so near and not so far from the airport The staffs were corteuos Their airconditioning is the best. Very fast wifi. Tip: book in advance! Its much cheaper booking online than walk-ins. I paid only 248/night online, you have to pay 450/night doing walk ins. For a hostel? 9/10

I had a wonderful and safe stay. The delux room made me feel like I was just in my own room. Everything is there kitchen utensils, stove etc. And the fixture is good for working guest. Overall, G and B Hostel is a great place to stay. A value for your money hotel.

I traveled to Cebu with my workmates and overall the stay was uneventful. The location of the hotel is at the center of Cebu City and will take you at least 45 minutes from Mactan Cebu International Airport. The guesthouse is situated in the middle of a residential area and it takes you 10 minutes to get to the nearest fast food or restaurant. The guesthouse do not ser...

The best thing of this inn is the staff. There are two lovely girls who manage everything. They are nice, funny, and always eager to help you to get the best for your staying. The inn is located quite far from the city center, up on the hill, but that's a plus for me. You have a great view from there and it's in a very quiet zone, far from the noise of the city. Perfec...

It was quite convenient place, easy to reach anywhere in Cebu city. Staff are very kind and good security system. if you are a solo traveler, this place is the best choice especially for female. However, they don't have refrigerator... It's a weak point of this accommodation.

Lovely hostel in busy cebu city. Very friendly and helpful staff! They can assist you with anything. The facilities are clean and the dorm is big enough with good AC. Cheap eateries and 7/11 are just around the corner. It is also close to SM mall and laundry is just next door. I'll always be back there when i am in cebu city!

this is the most clean and cheap guest house in cebu city. location is near IT park, jy mall, but 10 mins by walk by main road which is pro, also, and cons of this place. you can feel local, but someone may feel bit scared if you are not really familiar with ph. Reception is really kind and accommodating. Room is small, but good airconditioned. overall, best value hot...

My first and second stays at bugoy was great. The staff was very polite, friendly, and helpful. The owners Gens and Renzel went on a trip to Negros, so we didn't talk much but they were here during my second stay a couple weeks later. The whole family is really friendly, you will meet Renzel's sister Rena and Renzel's daughter Eunice (super cute). Privacy is respected,...

It was really good stylish hostel. To travel Philippine, I always care about the cleanliness, especially of the bathroom, but there was no problem in this hostel. And you also don't need to care about the safety around the place, it is in "village" where is very secure area. I already stayed tens of hotels and hostels in Cebu City, I can say with confidence that this i...

Me and my friend arrived in Cebu City late at night (Me at 7pm and her at 11pm) so we needed a place to stay for the night before we go down south of Cebu. The location is accessible by taking the ferry boat bound to Pier 3 and then its walking distance from the pier. We booked for a dorm-type room but we were instead placed in a double bed room so we were upgraded. Th...

This hotel/hostel exceeded our expectations! We booked for 3 nights at a cheaper price but to our surprise, our accommodation includes free breakfast. Yes! Free breakfast (eggs, bread, cereals and COFFEE!!! That saved us P50-P100 each. Next is, it is beside Quest Hotel which is just a few steps away from Ayala Mall. Jeepney terminal is also near so if you want to see t...

For traveling around the old city center in Cebu city, Elicon House has an excellant location. It is accross street from the well known San Carlos University main campus, and about 10-15 munutes walk to the the city's oldest street, Colon Street. Plenty of eatting places around the hotel. The room is good sized, but the facility is obviously quite old. The room and the...

We stayed for a night while in Cebu City. The location is very good, as it is near convenience stores, restaurants, fastfood chains, coffee shops, and pharmacies. The staff are nice. The room has enough space for two and has good air condition. I was just shocked to find a small crawling cockroach under the bedside table UPON entering the room. Not happy with the bathr...

Very good location, easy to get a jeep or taxi when like to travel somewhere in the Cebu City, they had a good kitchen free to use when you need to cook your food, very cheap rate of accommodation, the room is a bit small and they had a good facilities to use to make you comfortable during stay. Good hostel.

I paid 900 php including taxes for 2 nights stay the room was really small. we wanted to add extra bed for my baby but it won't fit the room. Good thing the bed was wide enough for me, my hubby and my baby. There is no closet. And the floor is very dusty. The shower room and toilet were reallllllly small. But it was okay though it's acceptable coz price was really low....

Gran Tierra Suites is no wonder a great hotel to be in, whenever you're in Cebu. I would really like to commend their great and excellent hotel staff. They are really helpful and approachable whenever we have requests (e.g. additional floor rags, remove the extra bed because we realized that there's no longer a need to have one since the large bed can fit 3 people) and...

Pros: - hotel is new and very clean - friendly staff - excellent breakfast buffet - well worth the money - prepay the buffet with agoda as the buffet will cost 400 pesos on site at the hotel - stayed on the 18th floor with a great view of the city - pool is on the roof top with an excellent view of the city - convenience store located on one level below the hotel wher...

Easy working with the condo contact. Very prompt in replying to requests for additional information. Condo was well supplied with day to day necessities. Worked with us for early bag dropoff. Our first night was train wreck. Location is great as you can walk to the Ayala Mall in less than 5 minutes. Look forward to staying here again when our travels bring us back to C...

Stayed in this hostel for 2 days and 1 night. This is an unplanned trip to Cebu and wanted to unwind for a while so I book this hostel, one of the cheapest. I flew to Cebu right after my work hence really tired. I found the hostel quick from Ayala Center mall. From airport, ride a minibus going to Marina Mall for 7 php, then walk straight and cross to Island Mall ( is...

I had a nice weekend in Sanremo. I and my friends stayed there for 1 night. The apartment is spacious, it has 2 bedrooms, it was clean and it is complete with necessary utensils which are use for cooking. It feels like you're in your own house! I'll be back soon that's for sure. :)))

Overall 3.8 / 5. Cons: 1) no Ironing facilities; 2) Cockroaches and small bugs all over the bathroom; 3) Noisy old air conditioning; 4) Terrible bad Internet! Change to faster! (in 2.93 mb / out 0.94 mb); 5) TV channels do not work! Stands for beauty; 6) Need Slippers!; 7) Need a welcome bottle of water; 7) Need instruction “how to use the door”. Door shut down while I...

Location is near JY square. Everything you need is near. There is also a 7/11 downstairs. Room is clean. You can prepare your own food as it has its own kitchen. Room also has cable but wifi is kind of slow (you can use LTE instead). Overall, room is recommended for guests visiting Cebu. Very near attractions such as taoist temple, road going to Busay, IT park, etc.

It is my first time to try booking through Agoda homes and was very satisfied with the hotel-like treatment. Resty (the host) was very accommodating. The room has all the things you need for the night which includes dining table, CATV(with netflix), Internet connection, Fridge, oven. The location of the property is a big plus to the value of your money. Also, overni...

Not all rooms in first-class hotels in Cebu have a bath tub. This one is one such. There are others. This reviewer has a habit of misbehaving in first-class hotels (although not for the bath tub) and he hereby apologises to all Cebu first-class hotels. The Agoda price for three persons was double the price for two persons. Agoda.com went on to find a cheaper price – fo...

Everything is clean and neat. Complete appliances and kitchen wares. Very accessible location and close to a grocery mart. Strong wifi connection and cable tv. I just wasnt aware the pool is open by 3pm every monday. Building security is strict with valid ID for guests and visitors which i was not informed beforehand. Will be coming back for anothet stay indeed.

among the four and five star hotels in cebu city, this one may be best, if the others offer comparable rates(rates alter), this one is your best choice. the staff is very hospital as you would expect in the philippines. the rooms are spacious and clean. as located in cebu city, it is far from the beaches but also much cheaper than comparable hotels located at beaches....

Very satisfied with our 4-day and 3-night stay in this property. It has 3 spacious bedroom of which 2 has aircon working excellently. Living room & kitchen has a separate aircon too and is well ventilated with terrace in front. The location is very accessible to tourist attractions, public transport, mall, eateries, pharmacy, sari-sari store, etc. Everything you need...

i read negative comments about this place but i choose still book for a room because of their pool which can be access untill 10pm, the unit was equiped with almost everything we need during stay.. refrigerator, cooking utensils, tv, aircon and more.. cold & hot shower is also available.. thankful for the staffs who assisted us

man i love this place. ok this is not an hotel but a flat. garage for the scooter. the flat is spacious with balcony. the kitchen is nice. the bathroom a little bit small but clean and new. still not try the gym and the pool but are going to very soon hehe come!

The location was good, however the apartment was small and decor was simple and minimal. Super small t.v mounted on the wall. I think if the get a larger .t.v and apply some type of decoration on the the walls it will improve the place greatly. It's ok for a short stay for a few days

This room ranks as one of the best we have ever booked in Cebu! The design and decor is so stunning. Our custodian went above and beyond the call of duty meeting our additional requests. Thanks for that! There is ongoing construction but we were more distracted by the gym and pools. Both facilities exceeded our expectations. There a few street restaurants near the...

Stayed in a one bedroom suite which was small and cozy. Had wifi, DVD, AC, and an outdoor pool whihch was nice...except... the pool is closed Mondays and wedged between the towers on the East and West side which means you get maybe 4 hours of sun on the pool deck. Would definitely stay here again and might buy a unit there... Staff at pool and reception was a little st...

Ms. Tess and her staff were nice and helpful even during late at night. The place is cozy and safe. Upper units will give you an awesome view of the city especially during sunset and at night. Our unit was on the 39th floor. Bar and resto's, conveniences stores as well as pasalubong center were just stone throw away. We even just walked our to Magellan's cross (15 mins...

Pros 1. Excellent location. Close proximity to what we'll need. 2. Space for kitchen, dining, living/seating space, 2 Bath, 2 BR. Can pack all of us 7 but more convenient if there's only 4 pax 3. With big tv and wifi Cons 1. No cleaning services done the whole 4D3N, despite i paid addiitional Php2,000.00 on top of remt and taxes and fees. 2. Thrash was built up during...

First things first the room was awesome. However, we booked our stay ahead of time. Already paid it thru Credit card. But on the day of our stay, they told us that we didn't confirm our stay. So we asked what can be done? So we went to the location and talked to the caretaker. They already gave the room that we booked to another guest(how awsome that is). So they gave ...

Not enough room to swing a cat. Apparently there was a double bed and sofa bed. The double was obvious, but not sure about the sofa bed. If the two chairs turned into one, than the lack of space and table between meant you couldn’t use it. After booking, a whole load of exorbitant additional extra charges were sent through I.e using excessive electricity etc. host wo...

It was my daughter's 6th bday and I booked it on the same day and the host is very responsive and confirmed my booking right away.. the place is far, but it's very quiet and peaceful. We arrived at the apartment lobby and checked-in upon which another staff member came along with an invoice for P5,300 deposit and P1,500 late check-in fee and P600 utilities bill. We had contacted this place twice before arrival and at no point did they mention any of these additional fees to be payable prior to check-in. To make things worse, they only accepted cash ...

The best time to visit Cebu City largely depends on your preferences for weather and activities.
