"Pros: - hotel is new and very clean - friendly staff - excellent breakfast buffet - well worth the money - prepay the buffet with agoda as the buffet will cost 400 pesos on site at the hotel - stayed on the 18th floor with a great view of the city - pool is on the roof top with an excellent view of the city - convenience store located on one level below the hotel where you can buy water, chips, etc. - hotel is located in Cebu city and in walking distance to many attractions: Cebu Monument, Cebu Cathedral, Fort San Pedro, Magellan’s Cross, Basicilica Del Santa Nino Church, etc. Cons: - located on a busy street - hallways are not air-conditioned as the hallway windows are open so coming out of your air-conditioned room to a hot hallway just gives you a heads up that it’s hot outside - you need to keep your room key in slot to keep the AC running while in the room; once you leave the room, you take the room key out of the slot and the AC turn off "

"We stayed in this hotel overnight in Cebu City before going to the Shangri La. We used the Quest as a base to visit the (few) historical attractions, the fort, Jesuit house, Yap Sandiago house and Casa Gororda. The historical sights are just a short taxi ride away from the hotel, and definitely worth doing to get an insight in to the local culture before stepping it to the bubble of a beach resort. The hotel has only been open for one year so it has not yet had the wear and tear. It's a modern, very clean and comfortable business style hotel. The staff were efficient and friendly, the wifi in the room was fast and easy to connect to. The room was very clean, and a decent size, with all modern amenities which made for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet spread was good, international and catered for the locals, and surprisingly good western food too. Given the low cost of this hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality, service and amenities in this hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a place to stay in Cebu city. "

"Not all rooms in first-class hotels in Cebu have a bath tub. This one is one such. There are others. This reviewer has a habit of misbehaving in first-class hotels (although not for the bath tub) and he hereby apologises to all Cebu first-class hotels. The Agoda price for three persons was double the price for two persons. Agoda.com went on to find a cheaper price – for three persons - through one of its "partners". The Agoda document said – to the hotel – that it – the latter – would be paid, not by Agoda but, through a third party. Upon check-in, with three persons for four nights, we were told, we had only breakfast for two. We didn’t mind. Upon check-out, the breakfasts for the third person were reimbursed."

"among the four and five star hotels in cebu city, this one may be best, if the others offer comparable rates(rates alter), this one is your best choice. the staff is very hospital as you would expect in the philippines. the rooms are spacious and clean. as located in cebu city, it is far from the beaches but also much cheaper than comparable hotels located at beaches. you can however purchase day pass tickets at some of the beaches, e.g. maribago blue water resort for pesos including a good lunch. directly next to sm mall cebu, so convenient for shopping and eating, but the ayala mall is the better mall in cebu. "This is the best bang for the buck hotel in Cebu. Location is close to Airport, SM Cebu, and My City Bus. The room is big and clean and if you get lucky with your room you get to see the Cebu Downtown. This hotel is across from SM Cebu so it's very convenient to do any shopping. You can also take the BRT from SM Cebu terminal to go to other places likes Airport and SM Seaside which makes it cheaper to travel within the city. There is a 7/11 outside the hotel so that is a plus too. On the downside, the room is not bright. I dislike hotels that doesn't have enough lights in their rooms. The breakfast is ok, not much of selection and nothing else to talk about it. The staffs are attentive and helpful but that's about it. I have no problems with them. Overall, if you're looking for a hotel that has very good value, you should go for this one. "

"Very well appointed all round. In-house food was fantastic. Best staff ever, we stayed four different places and five star service way above anything else I encountered in Cebu. Reception was quick and efficient. Restaurant crew were as well. We wished we stayed there for the two weeks we were in Cebu. Far beyond expectation and an oasis in a desert of crap hotels. Needs a bit of local tours etc maps, shops, sights. Well done. "

"Our room was spacious and clean. I love that we had a room from the 23rd floor. This is value for money if you're staying in Cebu City. Ayala Mall is across the road. We even have buffet breakfast though selections are limited, but for the price, I can't complain. I only booked this because Montebello Villa cancelled my reservation the last minute and I'm very glad they did as Mandarin was way cheaper. My partner and I had a very tiring commute from Moalboal and we slept like a log in Mandarin. Will recommend this to my friends and family who will visit Cebu City next month. The only con I can think of is there is no bidet in the bathroom. Other than that, everything's excellent. For the price I paid, I didn't expect to have a bathtub. We ordered food from room service when we arrived and it was tasty. "
