"The hostel is fine, staff very friendly, the place is clean and has a chill vibe about it. I don’t however, recommend the airport pick up service. After two flights and about 14 hours of travel time, the guy in charge of my airport pick up was nowhere to be found.I had to go through all the names on the drivers’ boards twice. After which, I stood in a corner feeling stressed out, exhausted and annoyed as anyone can expect. After a good 10-15 minutes, I saw a man walking around, having a chat with several people, a piece of paper hanging upside down from his hand.I had to crane my neck in trying to read what’s on his paper.Long story short, it was my name.I waved several times but because he was busy socializing, he did not see me.I had to literally run after him and tell him it was me he was supposed to pick up.Rather than to apologize for not doing his job, he was more annoyed than I was.My first impression of Costa Rica was terrible because of this arrogant, rude, inefficient man."

"The rooms are simple but clean and great for the price. The continental breakfast was good with lots of fresh fruit and the setting was quite nice with a sunny courtyard and flowering plants. It didn’t look like hotel from the street and was a bit hard to find but that was probably our map app. It would be nice if they took credit cards. Kirk was really helpful and pleasant and we enjoyed our stay."
