not worth”
I know that this is rural accommodation on island, but it can not be excuse for all problems. First of all it should be called hostel or dorm as there is almost no walls between rooms. There is just a thin wooden wall with holes between rooms. To be honest - sitting on a toilet you can high five with your neighbor - absolutely no privacy. Moreover we got dirty, used towels... Value vs. price is very very bad in the place. I would recommend to do NOT book lunch/dinner at hotel's restaurant. They serve very small food portions and it is very, very simple (mainly rice, potatoes). We agreed with Sara (the owner) what food we would get, but on the island they did not provide it. You can easily eat in the village, there is a few restaurants serving day trippers, so you can choose what you want to eat and you can see what you are going to order. Do not prepay at hotel's restaurant. BTW - In the restaurant I had the most expensive Presidente beer in Dominicana (400 DOP). I wanted to support them, but c'mon 8USD for a beer in Republica Dominicana? On the island you can easily buy it for 200-250DOP.
