              Relaxing and quiet”

The environment, the staff, the peace and quiet

We really got to relax in nature by doing nothing much yet we had the option of: 1. ATV-ing 2. Swimming in Chamang waterfalls (use insect repellent!!!) 3. Going for a nature walk/ hill trek. 3. Heading to Bentong town nearby 4. Eating at a nearby restaurant "Tanah Aina" which was by the river. Good food! The staff were very hospitable and friendly. I would go back and have already recommended it to envious friends.

              Perfect getaway!”

Its a perfect holiday for me and my girlfriend, she love the glamping idea so much, the place is perfect and i definitely will come again. The only concern is there is no signboard at all prior entering to the caravan serai area.. would be great to have a signboard from 5km to the last 500metre. Other than that its perfect for both of us.

              Glamping close to the nature”

The staffs were friendly and very helpful in assisting me and my family during the visit. I never know the word glamping until I reached Caravan Serai. Great location but can do better with the facilities. Our 1 hour morning walk, walking thru the jungle, "bukit" climbing and passing thru the shallow river was great. Better if visit during non-peak period.

All was good except for the nature walk”

I have been to a lot of eco resorts and very much familiar with the difference between a nature walk, hiking and trekking. The nature walk is more like a hiking adventure. Climbing all the way up which might not be convenient for everyone especially with those yellow boots. The climbing track was not properly open, there were grown bushes on the track which makes it difficult to walk through. We started the nature walk without any warming up session which is totally wrong. Please ask the staff for a warming up session first because you would assume that nature walk should be a normal brisk walk on a flat ground but you are totally wrong.

              "Excellent staff,dissapointing facilities"”

Checked in here last minute, with a friend and her son on 10th November. The tent given to us facing a shabby pool was disappointing full of large holes and the bathroom was really bad.We were fooled by the pictures. This kind of tents should not be given for guests, its really disgusting. When we brought the matter up to Miss Christie they said they would change the tent and said this is called "Glamping"!!This tents aren't fit to be lived in and they should not give excuses.A snake could slither in at night! We ended up paying RM 250 to upgrade to villa instead.Morning hike up the hill was fun but very slippery,I fell a few times with another guests.Wellington boots are definitely not safe for a slippery hill hike. The face saver was Agus the caretaker,he was such a lovely guy,Caravan serai is indeed lucky to have him as he brought the ratings up.Not recommending or coming back again.Front entrance has a muddy patch and my car skidded twice. Its a lovely place but don't shortchange guests.

              Glamping in Nature”

The best part is sleep at night with nature sound and nature walk in the morning. Please don't expected to much if you want feel like stay in hotel room. Please bring your on insect spray, small insects/bugs/fire ant may stay together in the tent. For the best dinner, better go Bentong town or Lemang Toki .

environment, staff being helpful, pleasant enough accommodation.

plain black instant coffee, sugar and creamer should be provided in rooms. more advice on nature's walk like arming yourself with a walking stick. if you put tv, cd player and a impressive sound system in the villa make sure it works otherwise what is the point? also in the private garden in the villa a couple of outdoor chairs and a table wouldn't go amiss. overall, though my stay was very pleasant.

Love the complimentary eco nature walk in the morning organised by the property! Can't wait to come back during the fruits season. It's always a good idea to get back to nature. The bed was comfortable and AC was provided so we slept soundly.

Overall it’s a good place to chill and good to experience a glamping style accommodation. But without WIFI connection and very weak telco receptions, make difficulty in doing research on things-to-do in the area or in Bentong town

              Nature At Its Friendliest*”

The tent's attached bathroom, air-conditioning in the tent & the nature ramble

Our stay was very good. CS is a great intro to the great outdoors, allowing visitors to explore without feeling apprehensive. The nature walk is actually a hike over a hill and up a river that runs through the premises. Though we had missed the earlier outing, the guide, En Roslin and his Nepalese assistant were good enough to take us on a second round. It was fun, educational and at the end of it all, that climb left us feeling like we'd achieved something. The tent we had was nicely furnished with a queen-sized bed, a sitting area for two, a shower, sink and toilet in a separate, connected area [ with good water pressure, though there was no hot water ] and a mobile air-conditioning unit. It was very clean and best of all, free of creepy crawlies ;)Breakfast was simple, but decent and the resort itself had an air of peace. We left refreshed :)

              Back to Nature Stay ”

First time there, the villas was great with good entertainment sound system. Outside the compound was nature with a stream beside and a hill . Fruit tree like rambutan and mango are just in the compound. Staff are friendly and helpful Daily fresh rambutan was given by the nature tour guide who bring us for the morning trail walk. Children had fun doing treking up the hill, cutting rubber trees , pickling rambutan , walking in the stream back to the villas. Great place for those city children who need to get away from internets

              Very friendly and helpful staffs”

We arrived at about 3pm while we settle down in the tent the staff is already preparing the dinner for us. Dinner was simple but fulfilling and because it was outdoor dining we requested for mosquito coils he brought a few coils enough for us to light throughout the night, however I don't recommend to light them in the tent it can be quite toxic in the enclosed area and there is not much mosquitoes in the tent at night. The next morning the same staff who served us during dinner brought us for hike he is very patience to lead us throughout the trail as it rain previous night it was wet and muddy. At the same time he also taught us to use big leaves to fan away the mosquitoes to prevent them from landing on us. We would say the stay is very pleasant because of the friendly and helpful staffs, continue keep up the good job.

              Fun experience”

It was a fun glamping experience for me. There are few facilities but seems like not well-maintained likes table tennis and swimming pool. The next day we have short nature walk up to a small hill and also cross a river. The staff was very kind in helping to take us photos. After a walk we have simple breakfast and it was just nice. Overall is a good experience and I like it very much

if you just need the experience to sleep in a tent with decent facilities, the price itself quite expensive but for whole package (accom, breakfast x2, nature walk around 1hr) worth it. tent little bit old with some tears here & there, sink little bit stains, squeaky bed but still comfortable to stayed in. staffs are excellent-thumbs up. thank you for your hospitality!

A good place to gather up with friends and enjoy the nature”

It's definitely a good place to gather up with friends here. Room are spacious and can fit up to 5-6 person (request additional beds with breakfast included). We can also fully focused in interacting with each other as there won't be any strong signal to surf online, which is pretty good! All are good except for the other family beside our tent who dislike noises shouting at us rudely asking us to shut up when it's only 10pm+. If you require a total sound proof and noise free environment, you may want to ask the staff to assign you to other tent that have distance with other groups to avoid any noises.

The best part is the nature walk. I really enjoy it and I don’t think other resort would offer this type of service. The BBQ was OK and it was us who occupied most of the place. Very peaceful. A retreat for the weekend. Recommended.

              Run down, below average breakfast”

Our tents given looks run down, with many patches and moldy. Air cond wasnt functioning properly (had tapes holding it together). Mosquito coil provided without stand (just one, if you ask they will charge). Charged additional rm20 for our 4 year kid, which we didnt mind, however food was limited only to fried mee hoon, fried eggs, nuggets sausage popiah and some toast. Pool looks like it wasnt cleaned in ages with thick slimy algae coating. Better options nearby. No fruit trees in site (expecting it to be eco resort) since they have pics of those on agoda.

Nice place for a short getaway”

I was desperately in need of some peaceful getaway after bustling weeks in office and I am glad that I came here. So I booked one tent just 2 days before we checked-in and worried if it might be overpriced. However, the place just met our expectations. The location is quiet and calm. The tent, toilet and bed is clean and neat. It might not be as luxurious as other glamping site, but it is comfortable enough for a short stay and to make you forget about your hectic city life. The nature walk is more like mini-hiking. But the view when you reached the highest point of the hill is so nice and I think it is time to replace the ping-pong table to new one.
