Taking the MRT and bus was very convenient. It was nice to just hop on the second floor of the bus and explore the town without any specific plans. I only got to visit Chinatown briefly, which was a shame since it was only a 5-minute walk away. Anyway, it was great that it was easy to get to almost all areas of Singapore. The hotel service itself was excellent. Even when I spoke incoherently, the staff understood me perfectly and did their best to help me. The swimming pool had a perfect temperature, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, all the facilities were great without any flaws. Oh, and the soundproofing was perfect. I couldn't hear any noise from outside the room. One thing that comes to mind is that the location was great for having breakfast and exploring from the morning. There was a famous kaya toast restaurant right behind the hotel, and a delicious local Indian restaurant was only a 10-minute walk away (or one bus stop away). I tried the hotel breakfast for one day, and it was also excellent. There were many memorable and delicious dishes such as dumplings, sweet green steamed buns (I don't know what they're called, but they were really good), various cheeses, smoked salmon, curry, and naan bread. All the food felt like main dishes. I highly recommend this great hotel. Thanks to it, my trip to Singapore will be remembered as a great memory.

Booked this hotel before going on a cruise for 2 days. Turns out the location is great, close to restaurants and there are many options to choose from just outside the door. Behind the hotel is Ya Kun Kaya, the first branch. There is also Khao Mun Gai Kao Aung, which is comfortable. You can walk to Sea Wheel to buy tickets. In addition, you can walk to eat at Song Fa Bak Kut Teh at Chinatown Point branch, which is close by. It is very convenient as it is close to the MRT Chinatown station. The rooms are not small like other hotels in Singapore. The room is new, clean, and the lobby is on the 3rd floor. Highly recommended.

Basically, the hotel is very convenient to both the bus and subway stations, and there is a bar downstairs, so you don't have to go too far. The TV and sound system in the hotel room are good, and I really like the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, especially the fact that there are two sinks so you don't have to fight over them! The gym and swimming pool on the top floor, although not very big, had a great atmosphere at the time and made me feel motivated to exercise 😂. Next to the top floor is the laundry room, where you can pay to do laundry and drying. Grab or foodpanda are both very convenient, and there are too many delicious foods to choose from.

Fab stay that pay homage to local culture”
There are many positives: The location is exceptional and it is easy to get around by just walking. Food-wise, we are just across the road from Hong Lim Food Market and a short walk away from another famous hawker center at Maxwell. There are also plenty of hip, upscale dining spots along the way. Within the room, the kitchenette comes in handy and there are compact storage options spread around. One highlight was how each bedside table was reminiscent of a tingkat, a traditional takeaway container for food. However, one surprising downside would be the limited area to hang the bath towels, especially if more than one person were staying in the room. There is a rail located in the shower room (but then the towels had to be taken out while showering to avoid getting them wet) and another in the toilet room (which would have the towels too close to the toilet bowl for our comfort). We ended up using the small hooks by the mirror. Configuring the room lights also took a while to figure out. But these were minor issues that didn't detract from the overall stay. It is a very comfortable place.
