D'wina Canggu was exceptiona, location = excellent, villa = outstanding, customer service = exceptional. I chose this Villa because of location and the fact the property was only built 3yrs ago, and only a handful of them. We were booked in for 2 weeks, after one week there was an issue with our villa and what can I say. Manager Mr Wahab stepped up without me having to even say anything. He arranged for us to be relocated to D'wina's newest villas located at Batu Belig, about 10mins by car closer to Jl Petitenget - still in an excellent location. Mr Wahab and his Team made our transition seamless and calm. "No stress, Mr Wahab said to us, I have it all sorted out for you, all you need to do is pack your bags, driver to new villas, airport transport arranged for our departure at the end of your holiday, late check out with shower access, breakfast and no added costs!!" Mr Wahab is gold and his team, we thank you and highly recommend D'Wina Villas. We will return next year!!

The Sense Canggu Beach hotel was worth the money, we spent (we had an agoda offer).. The staff is very friendly and tried to satisfy our needs as good as they could. Due to the fact, that the hotel ist brand new and we've been the 3rd guests, everthing was great and beside of some small facts, you could complain about, our stay was excellent. 5min to the beach, calm environment, helpful staff, antoher 10min beach walk to the western part of canggu made our stay to christmas time very comfortable.

There is a lot to say about this beautiful place. The description here does not do it justice. I will start with the location. At the end of the street where Canggu Rooftop is located, you can find StarBucks. In front of it, there is Canggu Station, where you can shop whatever grocery you want. It is perfect. Walking for just 2 mins, you can find several dine-in resturants. They are all perfect. 5 mins on a scooter or 15 min walking, you can find Finns Beach Club. If you rent a scooter, you can reach Seminyak Square in 20 mins. You are almost near to everything. Let me mention the facilities this place has to over. It offers an amazing kitchen. It has all the utensils you need. Excellent stove and fridge. It has a SMART tv with Netflix ❤. The bedroom was great. The private pool was fine. I just felt like I am at home. Room service is very good. They were very keen on cleaning the place everyday. Tessa at the reception was very helpful. Will for sure come back here again.

Located 100m in front of the surf breaks, this hotel is only few minutes walk to Echo beach restaurant and canggu "center" for restaurant and bars (Deus ex machina, Betelnut etc)... Probably the best location to check the surf and enjoy the sunset from the overflowing swimming pool... Very peaceful location and Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. We first booked for 3 nights and further extend for 4 more nights. Highly recommended getaway for your stay in Canggu. it might be slightly more expensive than other hotels but you get what you pay for... I will definitely book few nights to this hotel in my next trip to Bali.

Kalapa was even better than the photos or reviews indicated, and we already had high expectations (hence, our booking). It is so pretty and peaceful. You hardly even know there are other guests there! Nothing is too much for the staff and they are consistently friendly and unobtrusive. Whilst an eight minute ride from Canggu, it isn't hard or expensive to organise a lift and the yoga was fabulous. A very well maintained place, my only suggestions for improvement would be to have the air conditioner over the bed (as it didn't reach me and I was quite hot at night) and perhaps to schedule yoga earlier in the day so day trips are more do-able. That said, it made us relax waiting for yoga each day. Canggu is a sensational place to stay.

The journey from the airport was quite long but the good part was the airport transfer staff from the resort was there an hour early just to make sure we could immediately head to the hotel. This I give extra points to the staff at Bali Dream for thinking of, despite our flight being delayed by 30 minutes. Upon arrival, as we only reached at about 11pm, and we had one elderly person in tow, the staff were quick to process our booking and send us on our way to the villa assigned. Breakfast was reasonable, consisting of western and Indonesian locale. The spa sessions were awesome with friendly staff. If you are into sun, sand, sea, and especially surf, this resort is located barely 5 minutes from Canggu beach by the free shuttle service offered by Bali dream to any destination within Canggu. However, if you are more into shopping, DO NOT pick Canggu, pick Seminyak or Kuta instead.

I am single, in my 60's and was in Bali for dental work so wanted somewhere quiet, within reasonable distance of the Denpasar dentist and some Seminyak shopping. For me it was perfect, the only disappointment being the size of the pool which from photos looks large but is actually small although pretty. One charming and helpful young man appeared to do 90% of the work, making lovely simple breakfasts, cleaning the rooms and dining area-- immaculately-- and looking after guest needs such as booking taxis. There is a 2 storey villa which worked well for a family of 5 while I was there and there are 3 other villas. The place is very close to Pererenan beach where there is a reasonable cafe. It is not a swimming or walking beach but great for surfers. A short distance down the beach is Echo Beach Restaurant which has an extensive menu and will also deliver food to the villas free of charge or the Canggu Deli is close which Club restaurant which is fabulous , right on the beach with an extensive menu, and they will also deliver to villas free of charge There is also the Canggu Deli which has a great selection of everything needed to make your own snacks or meals if you dont feel like going out to eat. I highly recommend these Villas to anyone wanting something quieter than Seminyak and Legian yet not remote at a very reasonable price. The setting is quite rural and very beautiful and you can walk along the roads beside rice paddies and fields full of cows without being overtaken by thousands of cars and scooters. Tanah Lot Temple is also quite close, less than half an hour up the coast and spectacular. WiFi was excellent including in the room, no English television but you can buy very cheap dvds everywhere for in-house entertainment. I was sad to leave these wonderful Villas I felt so at home there.

Zoe Villa can be consider a 4-star hotel in Canggu for budget couples/families. Everything was way to surprise after opening the door, because it clean, friendly staff, cosy yet wild. Wild North Bali. I felt the natural of Bali in Zoe villa. Plants, stones, bricks, glasses bring the outside natural to the inside Zoe Villa. Without stepping of the Villa the whole day is also worth the time on the comforty bed watching some movies with love. Renting a bike at your fingertips because location to the beach is less than 15mins. (well, lets stop talking about how long, we are here to relax and slow down) Having some food at your convenient, ride down to the supermarket and cook for yourself like at home. But pls keep it clean too after cooking. It does feel cool to ride on the unfamiliar streets.

We only stayed here for 1 night however would like to comment on our experience. Location - Excellent location, 10 minute walk from Batu Balong beach which is great for surfing and there is a good beach bar/cafe called Old Man's there too. 15-20 minute walk to Echo Beach. Please note, that this villa is difficult to find and even taxi's do not know where it is - ensure to write down the contact number and ask the taxi driver to call them and explain how to get there once in Canggu. Security - Good security, locked gates and high wall surrounding villa, individually locking rooms. Staff - We only met one member of staff however they were very helpful with a reasonable level of English. He offered us breakfast for the following morning, and asked what time we would like it however because we were setting off early for the Gili Islands, we politely declined. Accommodation - the villa is beautiful, fairly modern with up to date fittings. The room itself has an ensuite bathroom, aircon worked very well, towels and complimentary water provided. Bed also very comfy. There is a pool but we did not use it, I tested the water and it was very cold. The walls surrounding the pool do not allow sunlight into this area so not ideal if you want to sunbathe but it is a nice addition to the villa.

This place is amazing! I travelled alone, but is perfect for couples and family too! It is a small hotel which makes it personal. The rooms are incredible, so clean. The pool is lovely and right next to the restaurant. The food is delicious and service was amazing. The hotel is nesselled away from the hustle of Canggu but only a short bike ride or scooter ride from the beach, the main shopping area and an awesome pizza restaurant. They have an onsite beauty spa too which was so good. I highly recommend.

Sejuk Villas was exactly how we pictured it to be. Definitely, beautiful, romantic and private. A great place just for you to have a relaxed, quiet time with your significant other. A perfect place if you're looking to destress or even write a book because it is really that peaceful here! The staff at Sejuk Villas were fantastic. We felt really welcomed. They never failed to make sure that we were comfortable and that everything was a-ok. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely come back in future :)

Had so much fun staying here. Very relaxing place away from the hustle and bustle of main canggu. If you want peace and quiet, it is very great to stay here. Special mention to the staff Dayat, Angra and the other girl (missed her name) for being very accomodating and attended to all our needs. Marie and Clementine is so warm and hospitable and took care of us. Continental breakfast is superb, also the nasi goreng. Will definitely come back. Thank you so much!

I spent a couple days at the Pandan Tree Villas and enjoyed it immensely! Ady, and his staff, are extremely accommodating and friendly. Even though we had a slight mishap in regard to maintenance of an AC, Ady made sure to take care of us. The villas are well appointed, clean, modern, open-space designed, and in a very quiet part of Canggu. They have a few scooters available for rental, at a reasonable price, which will allow you to travel into town for the restaurants and such. I'd highly recommend anyone to book a stay here versus the more populated and noisy areas. If you're looking for peace&quiet, this is a sure shot win.

The one bedroom villa had a private pool and an amazing outdoor bathroom. The villa was extremely spacious, clean, and well equipped. Free shuttle to and from airport as well as to Seminyak city centre was really great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location in between Seminyak city centre and Canggu. Would definitely recommend it to friends and stay there again if we returned to Bali in Canggu/Seminyak.

Apart from the in between area which is still under construction this place is amazing! Once you open the doors to the villa you enter a whole different place. A luxurious private oasis, well designed and with fantastic staff. You get a mobile phone with the staff numbers in it, very handy also for making reservations in restaurants. The bed was also great! Real good quality and extremely soft. Shower partly in the jungle plants which creates a great atmosphere. At night the staff lights candles around the pool so when you come back from dinner there's is a beautiful romantic lit swimmingpool. Absolutely great. We had an awesome time here and will definitely come back here when back in canggu!

We stayed in Villa Alamanda with 4 adults and 4 children 10, 8, 6 & 6 Old) The villa was nice, clean and inviting and has a nice pool. The villa is off a dirt road which is nice as there is not much in the way of through traffic , no taxis and no street stalls right near the villa. There are however nice cafes , warungs, and shops in the area too- all within walking distance or a short scooter ride. For us it was very family friendly however as the villas are 4 storeys with lots of stairs and have windows that open all the way without screens then those with smaller kids or toddlers may not feel the same. There are heaps of activities for the kids and families in Canggu with yoga, indoor rock climbing, Finns and of course the beach only a short walk away. The staff at the villa were great too. The optional daily breakfast is delicious And nothing was too much trouble for Ayu and her team who went above and beyond to assist us. We will be back for sure.

We choose a 1 Bedroom Private Pool Villa during mid April. although it was stated as a one bedroom villa we were giving a two bedroom villa when we arrived. We are only allow to use one room, I believe its not an exclusive one bedroom villa but for such a reasonable price who cares. We are lucky that we got the whole villa to ourselves during the low peak season and do not need to share with strangers for the price of a one bedroom villa we get to enjoy the whole two bedroom villa with pte pool, worth it. The villa is nicely designed. Very relaxing with nice pte pool. You can choose to have breakfast in villa or at the main dining hall. The staffs were polite and always greet you will a smile. Location of the villa wasn't great. It took us around 1hr to reach the villas from Airport, you may need to arrange for pte drivers in bali to take you around like myself if you stay in Canggu area, it will take about half an hour drive to the major town area like semiyak etc.... From this villa it took less than 5 mins walk to the local surfer's beach. There is some outdoor super cheap local bar and cafes on the beach. Had a great dinner by the beach during sun set, the meals was cheap you can choose from grilled seafood or different type of satay and it comes with few selection of free flow of salads and rice for less than $15USD with One for one cocktails... Overall it was a great experience will stay here again.

Was forced to stay in Bali for longer due to the Volcanic eruption canceling flights and booked for 3 nights at the Rama village whilst stranded at the Airport.This became a 4 night stay due to further flight cancelations.Our extended Bali vacation became a better experience due to the great performance of the Staff at the Rama Village in Canggu!They did everything possible to make our unexpected stay an enjoyable one from organizing Kawasaki Ninjas to get dropped off at the Hotel to shuffling bookings around to sccomodating an extra nights stay. There was nothing that the Staff at the Rama Village wouldn't do to help us out!Would recommend this Hotel to anybody who wishes to stay in Canggu.Thanks to Putu and the Team at the Rama Village!!

I booked the villa for my older family group who came to bali for the first time to attend our wedding. I was initially quite nervous as they don’t speak much English at all and a lot of them never had a villa experience. However, Paul (villa’s owner) and her amazing staff (Suli and others) have gone out of their way to make sure that everyone had a good time during their entire stay. Ive personally tried out a number of different villas in canggu and this is probably one of the best value! A big thank you to villa kaba kaba, it was truly and amazing experience! Villa: the villa is rustic and charming just as pictured. It is surrounded by green and lush rice fields. The roads leading up to the villa were extremely charming, we passed by a cute local village, nice rice paddies etc. which aren’t so easy to find now in the more commercial area in canggu these days. The villas are composed of two adjacent units (with 2 and 3 bedrooms respectively), each has a very sizeable pool and open view of the rice fields. The Balinese style of the villas fits perfect in the backdrop. It also has large common area for lounging and dining which is really suitable for groups. While it’s not one of those high end luxury villas, it is very charming and comfortable. Location: the villa itself is situated in an area slightly north of canggu, it is surrounded by beautiful rice fields. It takes about 20-30 min drive to get to central or beach areas in canggu. But it’s really not that bad with in-villa car available full day and there’s actually very little traffic from the villa. You can’t walk to a shopping / cafe area but honestly you can get everything in the villa and it’s a very short ride if you want to get out. To me it’s perfect for people who want to get away and experience real canggu but still stay close enough to civilisation. Hospitality: the most amazing of all is the great hospitality we received from Paul and all of its staffs. I was worried about communication before

I stayed at Umpadhi 2 nights. It is a very modern hotel as far as Bali goes. The room was huge with a king bed and a love seat to lounge on. Super clean with plenty of storage for everything. The bathroom was immaculate. Toilet came with a bidet and there was soap provided for the shower. The room also included a smart TV with plenty of English channels. It’s always nice to wind down with some discovery channel. No fridge in the room, but a communal one available near the kitchen. There was also a hot plate available for guest use and a water dispenser. Plenty of work spaces around the hotel if you don’t want to stay in your room. The upstairs lounging area facing a big open rice field was especially nice. Great place to enjoy breakfast. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. They have both Balinese and Western options. The pool was clean and relaxing. Quite deep compared to most I’ve experienced in Bali. We rented a scooter through the hotel for 70K a day. It wasn’t the best scooter, but he convenience of not having to go rent one yourself was nice. There are some places within walking distance, but to get to the beach or anywhere of more in Canggu I would definitely

We stayed there for 2 weeks and absolutely enjoyed all our time spent there! It's located in Canggu which is full of fancy cafes and restaurants so you easily can dine in different place every day. We had standard Villa Lily and it was spacious enough for two of us and located 2 meters from the pool. There is a stunning bathroom with shower and bath. They also clean everything on a daily basis and provide you with 2 very small water bottles which is not enough due to very hot weather. I was disappointed only once because I booked it including breakfast and found out on place that they've never served breakfast there...good that agoda made 10% refund. My advice is to rent a scooter or bike and then explore the area. CRATE cafe on the next street from the villa is the must for a breakfast with its breakfast burritos and platers as well as the best flat white and echo beach is the best place to enjoy all your sunsets. There is also Mandiri ATM located near Old Man's which didn't charge me anything for withdrawal

We rented out the 2 bedroom private villa with pool for a group of 4 and absolutely loved it. The rooms were huge, the bed was super comfy and clean, and having the pool all to ourselves was a charm. Jro, the manager, and his staff are extremely friendly and do go above and beyond for your needs. They were able to arrange all our transportation needs (some were in the middle of the night) and even drove us to the beach multiple times (which is a short 15 minute walk from the villa). The bathroom and kitchen need a little care, but that didn't bother us at all. If you're looking for an affordable place that's close to the beach/shops while enjoying the privacy of your own villa & pool, definitely check My Villa Canggu. The staff made us feel so welcomed and safe - we loved everything!

If you are a surfer then EBV is in a great spot being 150m directly in front of Canggus world renowned river mouth break. The staff are nice, welcoming and helpful. The villa could use some paint, beds could use some mozzie nets as there are large gaps in the doors and you are positioned next to a river where mosquitos love to breed, one bed creaked so woke me up every time I turned over,, and the aircon in the other room had 2 fan settings - loud and louder!. The villa though is on the cheaper side at approx $200AUD a nite so its not too bad considering the large pool, grassy outdoor areas, full equiped kitchen, location and great staff.

Everything I hoped the villa would be, it surpassed! Arranged transfer directly from owner which recommend. Stopped at Canggu Station for groceries. The grounds were wonderful with large pool, grassy area, shady atrium, koi & turtle pool, lounge chairs enough for all, and open villa with sliding glass doors to close if wish. 3 large bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, outfitted kitchen. Close to great restaurants, but recommend scooter or arrange rides with staff. Canggu/Echo Beach great location for restaurants, surfing, walking beaches. Wonderful staff!! Loved it!!

Our travelling date was confirmed only about a month before departure, plus it is Christmas period, there were not much hotel choices left at that time. We chose Sotis Villa because of the nice looking pictures in hotel descriptions. The villa facilities and interior turns out good and up to our expectations. Our bedrooms are large, clean and comfortable. Master room has a king sized bed; guest bedroom 1 has a queen sized bed and guest bedroom 2 has two single beds. Every bedroom has an attached bathroom. The living room and kitchen are nice. We had great time cooking our dinner there. We also tried food delivery from the villa. Nice with comparable price as in the restaurants. As per facilities, we feel our gate lock is not working properly, and the other room doors are not very solid. The pool is a bit small as well. Canggu is a quieter area comparing to Kuta and Seminyak. This villa is located about 500 meters from the main road, about 100 meters of which are dirt road (as per Dec 2016). You see rice fields on the road side. Beautiful countryside scenery. Travelling is much more convenient with a motorbike here. We rent a motorbike for transportation to nearby shops and the beach. Had fun riding the bike in Canggu's road (much better than Kuta). Hotel staffs are very friendly. They helped us for motorbike and car rentals. We had no problem communicating with the hotel staffs. And they are helpful with anything we needed.

Amelle Villas are nicely situated towards the top of Jalan Batu Bolong, one of the main streets in Canggu, close to the corner of Jalan Raya Canggu. What I favoured most about this place was the location, being close to local restaurants and reasonably priced massage spas. It is not close to the beach, which is either a 20-25 minute walk or a short scooter / taxi ride away. Given that the beach at the end of the road is mainly a surfing beach, this was not a big deal for me. I had a slight issue when I arrived in that I had seen pictures of the Residence room on Amelle Villas website, and the wrong photo was actually on the website. The pictures of the Residence room on Agoda are more accurate though, and you should note that those rooms are on the small side, especially for two people. I felt a little mislead and when I decided to upgrade to a larger room, I ended up having to pay a little more than I would have if I had booked that room on Agoda, which I was a little miffed by. Having said that, the Executive rooms are NICE! The staff are friendly and accommodating and for the few requests I had during my stay, they were always available to take care of them. Overall, I liked staying there but would not go back and decided to cancel a longer reservation I had. This is due to a combination of feeling mislead and it also not quite meeting my needs as a place where I can work as well as relax. Thank you to the staff and management for taking good care of my during my stay.

my boyfriend and I really enjoyed our weekend getaway in Canggu here. the staff are all incredibly kind, gracious, and helpful.... you get the feeling they really value your presence here. the rooms are simple, clean, and well maintained. AC works great... and they have a beautiful pool set against a nice, serene, tropical setting. the added bonus is they have floaties so my honey and I decided to skip the beach clubs in Seminyak--purchased some Bintangs from the bar at the facility and had our own, stress-free Sunday Funday. the staff were so sweet, helped us clean the floaties and blow them up so we could enjoy them. definitely plan on coming back here next time we are in Canggu. terima kasi!
