Nothing Short of Perfect!”
We stayed here for three nights and did not want to leave. The room is gorgeous and so clean, the a/c was perfect and loved having hot water for our showers. The pictures online do not do this homestay justice the details in the woodwork and craftsmanship in the floors and headboard are just WOW!The staff were so very helpful we rented our motorbike from them during our stay and they even set up our transportation to Seminyak. Location was great slightly off the main road so very quiet. Would recommend this Bulan Bali Homestay to anyone going to Ubud.

Bulan Bali Homestay was the most pleasant stay we had so far. From the delicious breakfast to the housekeeper everything was perfect. The room was beautiful with its unique design & the private terrace allowed us to relax & just enjoy the calm of Ubud. Fery, our go-to guy was amazing whenever we need something & was always there to make sure everything is alright. We definitely left our heart in Ubud & our homestay had a lot to do with it.

Great place to stay”
We were impressed as soon as we arrived at Bulan Bali Homestay. Daisy and her family were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was excellent value for money, an absolute bargain really. Beautifully presented and comfortable. Would highly recommend this place. The main tourist area is not to close and not too far, away from the crowds but within easy access of restaurants, sites and shops. We hired a scooter for our stay which was easily arranged through Daisy. Great place to spend a few days whilst exploring Ubud.

Big, clean rooms”
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Bulan Bali. The owners and staff were incredibly warm and kind. The room was beautifully decorated and clean and spacious. It really felt like you were immersing yourself in the Balinese culture. It was a pleasure waking up to a lovely breakfast every morning. The locals were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. It's close to everything you would want to see in Ubud. All you would need is a motorbike, available from the homestay, at a very good price.

Everything I hoped for ”
This is our first time to Indonesia. We wanted to start in Bali. We found Bulan Bali Homestay and couldn’t be happier. We were able to arrange a very late night pickup upon arrival t the airport. Our kind driver was very nice. The accommodation is very clean and has what we needed. A very nice breakfast was served the next morning and each morning thereafter to our balcony. The host and all the staff are wonderful. Highly recommend Bulan Bali Homestay.

Clean and spacious! Lovely environment”
Very lovely environment to experience in the homestay. It was really clean and comfortable. The interior is gorgeous. The families there are really friendly and we felt at home! Plus their dog is really cute. The place is in a small alley, so it might be hard to find. But you may go to Bulan Bali Hostel and the staff will help you with your luggages and guide you to your homestay. They provide scooter rental just at the homestay which is really convenient and laundry services as well. They provide hairdryer but no iron. One downside is that their rain shower in the room we’ve stayed in is quite weak. So you might take awhile to take a shower.

Exceptional value for large, clean, modern room and bathroom and delicious breakfast”
We LOVED staying here and would absolutely stay here again. This homestay was the lowest price with the best amenities of all the places we stayed throughout Bali. After booking, we messaged the host and asked to have one of the private bedrooms with a private bathroom and that's what we were given. We were on the second floor with a private balcony as well. The bedroom was enormous as were the bathroom and walk-in shower. Great hot water and water pressure. The beds are either two separate twins or one king pushed together. Comfortable and clean linens. It's a traditional family compound but the guest area must have been recently built or renovated. Another guest left a helpful review that this homestay is right next to the Yoga Barn and it's easy to get taxis and tour vans to pick-up/drop-off outside of the Yoga Barn and then walk the rest of the way to the homestay (about 5 mins). Our room also included breakfast which was a delicious omelette or banana pancake, fruit, and juice :)

Bulan Bali homestay and bulan bali hostel is owned by one person so at first we got lost looking for bulan bali homestay, when we really should have looked for the hostel. Aside from that the place is really a value for your money. :)

Loved it! Taste of real bali”
Arrived in ubud and to this homestay to feel like we had arrived in the real bali. Beautiful family home with spotless homestay building on the grounds. Unique rooms and decor, really clean, good shower, huge balcony( that you have your breaky on) , lovely helpful staff and just up the road from the yoga barn which was amazing place if you’re into yoga! Location was about 15 min walk into town which didn’t bother us and meant we got to see how the locals live, who were all lovely and spoke to us and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely go back!

I find myself coming back to Bulan Bali, I've stayed in their private room before and it was my favourite hotel during my trip in Bali. This time, I booked their dorm room; it's clean, quiet, and I appreciate the curtain provided for each bed. The owner is very nice and the breakfast is awesome for the price.

Best homestay in Ubud!!”
This was by far our favorite homestay in Ubud! The family was very kind to us and gave us a lot of tips on where to go in Bali. This is a new homestay since 2017. Included breakfast was served to your room/balcony, very clean rooms, free wifi and cheap scooter hire (50.000). Would definitely recommend this stay!!

A little oasis in the heart of Ubud”
The homestay is located in a small community built around what appears to be a family Hindu temple, set back a little ways from the main road. This location couldn't be better, because you get to hear the sounds of nature over the sounds of automobiles, and we felt safe in this community. Our stay was a very comfortable experience (the amenities look as good as they do in the photos), and the owner was okay with us staying an additional night (though it is the slow season in Bali). Complete with a wonderful complimentary breakfast, and cheap laundry service if needed!

Nice people, good food, beautiful homestay. Clean, with great amenities. I highly recommend. Ubud is far from Denpasar, but you can walk just 1 km to the main drag/monkey forest/etc. There's a great Bali Spirit Kafe nearby, where we ate nearly every meal. Enjoyed this stay very much.

Comfortable stay”
The location is superb. Just with a 15-20mins slow stroll you can already reach the center of Ubud. The homestay is tucked inside a residential area, thus no traffic noise at all (there’ll be one from the dogs, but we didn’t mind at all!). The room is clean, but better don’t put any food on the table, since there were horde of ants. Other than that, cleanliness is fine. Bed, sheet, and duvet is comfortable. Bathroom is also clean. And you’ll get a big porch in front of yor room to hang out, and that’s a big plus. There are several sets of breakfast you can choose from, so everyday you could get a different one. Probably an addition of electric kettle to the room would be good, but for the money you paid for, this place is just amazing.

Bulan Bali home stay was amazing for the cost. The staff was super attentive and willing to be flexible for any activities we had during the days (Mount Batur, cooking class). The breakfast is great and accommodations were very clean and nice. The location is slightly out of the way, but still an easy 25 minute walk in to town.

Our favourite place to stay in Bali”
Everything about our stay at Desy and her family's home was brilliant. We've never been made to feel more welcome and at home at any other homestay. Her family and staff were all so friendly and helpful, our room was fantastic value for money and breakfast each morning was delicious. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it by a week and have already booked to go back once we return from Cambodia. It's our favourite place we've stayed at in Bali and couldn't recommend it more.

Highly Recommend”
This homestay is really clean and tidy. Breakfast also good, you can choose what you want, with fresh fruit. Facilities are near new, and they have amazing balcony on second floor. You can drink beer at night with good view. Every staffs are very kind and friendly. And cute children will say hello to you. I really like to stay this house, so change my plan, extend 1 more night. Just 1 thing, the location is little far from central, but I use uber bike, cost was just around IDR 6,000, so no problem. If I'm traveling to Ubud again, I will definitely stay this lovely house again.
