Pros: Building is new or recently renovated. Located in a nice area of the city, about 1.5km away from where the night life is located. The restaurant staff is always friendly. Breakfast is good. Cons: The main con is that the hotel staff is very up tight about everything. They watch you on cameras like big brother and come to you for even the smallest issue. I'd call it borderline harassment. Eg. I took the water from the gym when I wasn't exercising, and they spent 20mins of my evening explaining to me how the water is only for when you exercise. Strange thing is water is free anyway and nobody was exercising. If you eat food anywhere but the restaurant or your room, the staff will talk to you about it too. They will watch you on cameras if you left the sauna or hot top and turn it off right after you left, even if you wanna use it again. I can go on. In summary, I felt my every move was watched. Also staff lacks organization. For example, we ordered room service and paid for it right away. At check out they said we didn't pay. We had to pull our credit card history to prove to them that it was paid. Ultimately, they wasted 30mins of our time when we were already late for our flight. If you order anything, keep your receipts as I saw another couple have the same issue! Few other cons: the roof top/pool was closed for renos. In the listing it is listed as having a pool. Only a few selected staff speaking English. Key cards often break.

Even though its in el psblado ots at the edge and its a challenging walk to area resteraints and metro station needs a cab ride. Our issue was that hotel as serious issue with their air conditioning and it didnt work 3 of the 5 nights we were there ..even afyer they made us change rooms and assured us the new room didnt have issues with air conditioning it went off at 11 pm and we were awake most of the night

Worst experience ”
We arrived to a well presented hotel & was taken to a room with a great view but a burn mark on the toilet seat & mould all around the bathroom. It took 3 hours for our room to be changed to a lower floor & was told I was “lucky” to get a high floor before by a very rude woman on guest services. We ordered room service one night, my food came cold & when they rectified it they just brought the same plate back microwaved. A lovely man named Ricardo helped me order a different dish which came wrong again but I couldn’t bare going through complaining again. The next night we went down to the restaurant for dinner which was the worst experience, my friend had to correct her cocktail 4 times & then it still wasn’t right, our food came late and cold (Ricardo tried to help again) & then we were ignored for the rest of the night. The tv in our room, we were told was only in Spanish but the second to last night we were there Ricardo straight away changed it to English. Beds were comfortable.

The only slight downside is the location - although you can easily walk down the hill, you really need a cab to get back up to the hotel.

13 Days in Medellin”
During my visit to Medellin, I stayed at the Binn Hotel for just under two weeks. The hotel is quite central to most attractions and hot spots. Part of my package was free breakfast and wifi which made this a really great deal. Overall it's a very new hotel and very clean. It's well staffed so response times are great for room service, cleaning and over maintenance of the facility. The gym is great and there is a hot tub which has a spectacular view! Management at the hotel is very customer focused and attentive to your needs and customer satisfaction. I'd recommend considering this hotel if you are planning a trip to Medellin...it's the perfect balance of luxury, cost and convenience.
