Room very clean, no bugs or mosquitos. Nelly and jocelyn made a remarkable job, helpping me with my broken eyeglasses and dinner suggestion, very polite and friendly. Fair enough for what you paid

Close to airport, no airport transport included like the listing says but they arrange a taxi for you for $5 USD to the airport. Comfortable beds, good free breakfast and good wifi. Not a great hotel to hangout at for more than one night but perfect for staying on your way to or from the airport.

Arrived late to San José and needed a place close to the airport. Check in was easy and staff is friendly. Gated parking was nice. Breakfast was decent and made to order. Part of the hotel are well decorated, but rooms could use some update. Found some stains on our sheets and towels, not the end of the world. Would recommend for one night and if you need to be close to the airport

Super close to the airport, about 7 USD taxi ride. Some small restaurants that are cheap and nearby. Staff was super friendly, warm, and helpful. Small room, not the absolute quietest, but price was fantastic. Breakfast served at 6:15am (they'll whip you up some eggs, toast, fruit and maybe chocolate) and you have the time to eat because the airport is so close and many international airline staff don't show up until 7am.

A physical worn out hotel ”
We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport, the price was right and reviews said it was good. The beds were not comfortable and with the extra bed in our room it was too crowded. The staff were excellent as was the food they prepared. The free call home is an excellent and welcome feature, as is the free shuttle to the airport. It is difficult to walk on the street, especially at night.

Great little pit stop”
I am a young girl travelling by myself so I was a little bit nervous when arriving in San Jose. Despite me having to get a taxi to the hotel rather than their shuttle as they only do drop off and not pick ups! I was greeted by very friendly staff who were keen to help out and answer any questions in English and Spanish. My room was not huge but comfortable. Cleanliness was my main priority and my bedroom and bathroom was definitely clean. As I was only staying for one night it was perfect and had everything I needed (even air con) which was very welcoming after hitting the intense heat. The breakfast in the morning was lovely and reasonable priced at $6. I would stay here again as it was very convienetly located and stress free.

Great location but small rooms”
our room had 1 full bed, and 1 twin bed, so as it was very small and since we had to get our luggage ready for the flight, the twin bed served as our staging area for suitcases. the bath was tiny but smelled and looked very clean. we sat out back by the pool and read, and also out front in the rocking chairs on the porch. there is also a sitting area in the office area thatwe sat in to read. the road is being worked on out front, so at times traffic would back up, and right now there isn't much walking area. there is a coffee shop next door that had some of the best coffee we had in costa rica......since it's all good, that is staying something. it is called don mayo. it was great to be so close to the airport, because there was a traffic jam out front when it was time for us to leave, and the driver got us there in plenty time using a back road. the breakfast was delicious, and everyone was very nice and friendly.

One Night Stay in San Jose”
It was great! The staff was very helpful (we don't speak Spanish, and they were very accommodating to our needs and figured out what we were asking for), and they were so pleasant! We only stayed one night, but our room was well maintained and right on the side of the beautiful courtyard! It was conveniently located near the airport- it did get a little loud with the planes, but nothing too serious. Overall, great stay

We only stayed for a night as our flight got in really late from SJO airport. The hotel owner stayed up until 2am to check us in! He was incredibly nice and even gave us a ride to meet our shuttle bus the next day. Was a great place to spend the night. Very very nice staff. A bit of a language barrier but we managed fine.

Excellent”
Lovely couple running this place but beware they only speak Spanish. Found some hairs in the bed - almost looked like someone had slept there the night before and they had straightened out the sheets! Because we arrived so late however we didn't complain. Breakfast was delicious. Also no window in the room. Great spot for a one night stay if you've got a flight to catch (5 mins to the airport) plus they offer a free shuttle service to the airport.

Does the job”
i chose this hotel because i had to catch an early flight the following morning and its proximity and the free airport shuttle meant i could save sme time in the morning. the area is not particularly pleasant and in the heavy rain (without sidewalks) i opted for the slightly pricey hotel dinner, which turned out to be really tasty. the room was small, no desk or bedside table and its window opened to the corridor, the aircon could only do 16c, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. it did the job for an overnight stay. i guess on warmer days the pool in the garden can be a nice extra.

Great place to stay if you have an early flight”
Close to the airport and transfer was included. The staff was exceptionally nice. Even packed snacks for the little one when we left. There is not a ton of stuff around if you don't have a car but we were literally sleeping and getting up for our 6 am flight. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit Costa Rica.

Great value close to the airport”
If you need a place to stay close to SJO, this is a great value. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. They will drop you at the airport but won't pick you up. If you don't speak Spanish it may be a little more tricky but smiles and hand gestures will get you everywhere!! Again, the staff was so lovely.

One Night Stand”
Chose this hotel through the luck of the draw, could not book my usual hotel because of short notice on my part. Rooms were small, basic, but clean, same for the bathroom. Did have a/c and hot water. Restuarant closes at 10 PM, got there at 9:20 ish, ordered a Caprese salad which was very good but a little expensive, 3900 colones. My biggest complaint was the, "you don't want a glass of water here, you want to buy a bottle because the water here is bad." It's put-offing to tell me the water you cook and clean with is bad, this ploy is used in many places in CR though. Shuttle/taxi got me to the airport for an early Sansa flight with no problems.

Nice hotel, friendly service”
We stayed here for 2 nights, 1 at beginning of our holiday and 1 at the end. Airport is close to the airport. Around 2500 colonnes with taxi. It has his on restaurant where they have excellent pizza's. Personel is very friendly. If you want to go to san jose by taxi you pay between 20 to 30 dollars, depends on your negoutiating. I would came here again.
