Batam Center hotels & places to stay

A relatively new hotel located just next to the mall (simply cross the road) where you have good access to entertainment facilities like KTV, shopping, massage, movies and food. The arcade timezone at the mall there isn't so great as most of the machine are down or faulty, preferred the bigger timezone located at batam center. On level 2 of the hotel, they have their own massage services by ESKA group, and i chosen their back massage (upper body massage) service and it was really excellent! (One of the best massage experience). Nearby there are also other massage places and our group experience with the shangarila massage was TERRIBLE! The hotel have free shuttle services to and from the batam center and to and from nagoya hills shopping mall during WEEKENDS only (service end at around 3.30-4 pm for the former & ard 7-8 pm for the latter). We took the first ferry to batam center and ended up arriving earlier than the check in timing. In term of customer service, i think they have room for improvement. They promised that my pre-paid room will be ready at 1 pm (assigned room number and the keys can be collected by 1 pm) and after paying the deposit we went to level two ESKA group for massage. Thereafter when i went to the lobby to collect the room key, they had the room assigned to someone else and I had to wait for them to search for the documents and reassigned another room to me. If this is going to be so, they should just inform me earlier and I would have done check in only after my massage (note that it was their in-house massage). We booked a wellness king room. The bed was extra comfortable and the room design was simple and nice. Overall it was a nice stay and suitable for family and big group traveling.

It was our first time staying at Harris Hotel Batam Center and we will definitely be considering to stay there for future visits to Batam. Harris Hotel Batam Center is conveniently located beside Batam Center Ferry Terminal and it is very safe as checks are routinely done for every vehicle that enters the hotel’s compound. The level of guest service has over exceeded our expectations and we were very impressed with the facilities that are available at the hotel. The Harris Hotel branding advocates a healthy and active lifestyle and we really like its Simple-Unique-Friendly concept. Upon checking-in, we were even served with welcome drinks. Hotel facilities such as the gym and swimming pool are also available for hotel guests to utilise. There is only one room type at Harris Hotel Batam Center and the views from the hotel room are either city view or sea view. We opted for the room that offers sea view and when we entered our room, we were greeted by the pleasant aroma that was coming from the scented oil. Breakfast at Harris Hotel Batam Center was also a hearty affair. Freshly squeezed fruit juices are available upon request at no charge and the sumptuous food fare left hotel guests spoilt for choices.

Hotel provide free transfer from batam center mega mall to hotel every 2hrs. Hotel do provide free shuttle bus to the other big shopping mall (Grand batam mall & Nagoya hill mall) every 2hrs. And they provide free buggy ride to the nearest mall (kepri mall) and you can arrange for a pick up from kepri mall at your preferred timing. When we reached hotel we are 3.5hr early for check in time but we still manage to check in before 12pm and hotel lobby even greet us with 3 different types of refreshments cooling drinks and cookies + candies for the kiddos, although this is a golf and convention hotel but hotel doesn't forget to impress guests with kiddos. As we check in with 2 adults and 2 kiddos so I book a twin bed rooms and while checking in the reception even call up the housekeeping to arrange for our twin bed to be join so it will be big enough for my family,very thoughtful of the staff. Did I mention smile is never miss in any of the staff face anytime. Swimming pool is 1 of the best and there even a kids club for the small kids like 7yrs and below. Most of the hotel we ain't allow to take the towel from the swimming pool to our room, same as Radisson but 1 best point is they had prepared lots of white towel to swap with you for the pool tower so the guest wont feel any bit of cold when we enter the lobby. Breakfast is great, they sure have something for everybody. But buffet lunch or dinner is only available during the weekend maybe is becos more people are in this hotel during weekends. We had 1 dinner at the hotel lobby restaurant (Bite restaurant) as tired of all the same food in shopping mall.And that's the best meals we had in all our meals during the trip,but a little pricey for the portions we had,maybe just increase on the portions will be great. Most of the restaurants in shopping centre sell same things,all indon food. We had a time when we had pizza hut in grand batam mall and that's the worst food we had, pasta is so soggy, pizza dough i

Rooms are large and comes with bathtub. Beware that the room details on the Agoda Booking page states Whirlpool bathtub but when i was there there is only a regular bathtub not as stated whirlpool bathtub but nonetheless i am really pleased at the size of my room and the amenities that come with it. the breakfast is good, simple and deliscious! free transport is provided to Nagoya Hill, BCS and Mega Mall Batam Center. the vehicles will be minivans and mini buses as the roads in batam are small and filled with potholes. overall ill go for this hotel again when i am in batam.

Plus Points:- Hotel provides lots of facilities like Pool, Gym, Public Jacuzzi (Shared; Male & Female), Sauna, Steam Room, Pool Lounge, ESKA Spa & KTV. Staff are all very attentive & helpful. Excellent scenery in room. Unexpected to have the Housekeeper to even fold up your clothes nicely. Service staff are well trained & have no problem communicating in English. Hotel is clean and well maintained. You can always grab a cup of juice or water in the Lobby. Love their coffee for Breakfast. Negative Points:- No land transfer provided. Hotel arrangement of taxis/cab will cost double the usual rate (ie. Hotel to Batam Center Ferry Terminal takes IDR 100.000 per trip). Shuttle Bus timing is very limited and can only get you to Nagoya Hill Shopping & Mega Mall (directly opposite Batam Center Ferry Terminal). Personally, I find that the location of this Hotel is not as accessible compared to most other Batam Hotels. Finally, the breakfast although with varieties but most food doesn't come up to expectation. Ordered In-room dining, however, I find my favourite dish, Nasi Goreng is also not up to expectation (No Chicken Satay) as compared to Restaurants in any of the shopping malls. Lastly, they promised late check-out but I still received room calls when it's 12:00pm, not very nice here.

This was my first time in Batam and I literally dont know which hotel to book. I’m so glad I found Best Western Premier Panbil Hotel. The location is perfect, not so far from the city center and surrounded by trees and breath taking views. Very relaxing ambience and so many hotel amenities to enjoy. We really had a pleasant stay. Everything was great. The staffs are very accommodating too. They also provide free shuttle to Nagoya Hill Shopping Center and Megamall. I would definitely comeback and stay here again nextime.

This hotel was really awsum with a fantastic view of Batam. The hotel is situated away from the towns and roads of Batam, on a high hill which overlooks Batam. It gives alot of peacefulness. Good for anybody who wants to have a peaceful retreat. Day time you can go shopping to Mega mall or Nagoya mall, the hotel provides free shuttle (take note of the shuttle timings from the receptionist). Staffs hospitality was fantastic. I requested for the city view and the did a free upgrade for me. Did their romeo and juliet massage which was 3hrs of pampering and it cost me only S$90 for a couple! They have sauna room, a huge jacuzzi tub next to the swimming pool that overlooks the city, thats the best part of the hotel. Loads of privacy and peace. A beautiful romantic getaway. Rooms were so big and super clean. Free Wifis in the room. Rooms have huge open balcony for you to sit and enjoy some quiet night while having an awsum view of Batam. Never even had a mosquito bite although surrounded by trees and scrubs as they fog the place everyday. Swimming pool n jacuzzi water super clean and well kept. Surely will make it my holiday hotel in Batam. A real worth money for value hotel! Room service menu looks appealing but in Batam you will want to try their street foods which is much cheaper. So if you go shopping grab some food before returning. My room had a microwave n fridge (like a mini kitchen setting with utensils too!).

A new good value hotel in Batam. Located at the back of Kepri Mall, a large shopping center, so it's very convenient walking from the mall back to the hotel. The position is close to a large intersection which made it very accessible from/to the airport. Eventhough Centro hotel is using a shophouse building altered into hotel rooms, the room quality surprised me. The room was clean, all with kitchenette and with studio apartment setting. Furnishing quality was still good because the hotel was new. The bathroom was large and furnished in good quality. Overall a very satisfaction stay

There's no elevator, luckily my room was in the 1st floor. The room is bigger than I thought. Free wifi, TV cable and breakfast, yay! The location is in Batam Center, not too far from the harbor, but it takes half an hour to go to the airport. People will ask us to take taxi to go Nagoya, but actually we can take public transporation (with pink color) which is cheaper than taxi.

A hotel located at Sukajadi, Batam Center, which is almost literally on the center of the island. The complex it's located in got some great choices of local and even international foods, which are available from the early morning right until late at night. Asked for 2 twin rooms for 4 people, but it seemed they only have 1 twin remaining (the other remaining one is double bed) so we took it anyway. Staff is very helpful and friendly, and will readily help you. Facilities are okay, and the room itself is actually quite clean, but both rooms have quite a smell coming out of the plumbing which is just about tolerable. Sometimes there's also a smell of cigarette smoke coming from the exhaust even though we requested for non-smoking room. Hopefully these problems can get solved because they have a potential to be much better than they currently are.

Overall the room is good, quite clean. However no toothbrush, soap and shampoo provided during my visit. I requested for shampoo and was given a tiny bottle of shampoo and a soap for our family of 4 for our 2 night stay. They did make up room but not provided too. I paid more ex than other Batam 4 star hotel with more facilities that we usually stay in. Maybe because of peak period. For Breakfast they only have plain bread with jams n fried rice with egg. I requested 4 half boiled eggs but staff told me they only have 2 eggs. So I took that 2 and cook myself because they don’t know what is half boil egg after I explained in Indonesian language. I am Indonesian. I asked for dark soya sauce (kecap asin) they said they don’t have only have dark sweet sauce (kecap manis). If the price is not too high it will be good to stay here or else I find too expensive because not much facilities.

very clean, 15 minutes driving to Nagoya area. 15 minutes driving to Batam ferry, which is ok because we drive. The room is spacious with nice decoration. The only suggestion i have is that there was no hot water for a shower. It will be great if this can be improved! Overall, we were satisfied and Will stay again, especially in hot seasons when we dont need hot water.

One of the cheapest hotel option in Batam Center, about 15min walk to the ferry terminal and mall. There seems to have quite a number of eateries around the hotel but hasn't had the chance to explore as I only stayed for a night. The bakery at the corner opened early for those who wants to grab breakfast. The only complaint I have of the stay were the pillow (not firm) and the smell of naphthalene ball lingering throughout the room.

We stayed at a good sized room, even has a built in wardrobe. Relatively clean, bathroom needs a bit more attention (bidet is grimy). Shower water is almost non existent, might be better if they provide a pail and a bailer because the water coming out of the tap below the shower is quite strong. One thing to note, even they said the room we had is a non smoking room, there were evidences that people had smoked inside the room. The hallway reeks of smoke smell as a lot of other guests smokes there. Can smell it as soon as ypu open the room door and had to wade thru the smellnto get to the elevator. On the other hand, the staff were great. Very helpful and polite.
