Perfect for a short-stay in Basel! Hotel is well located for the price, next to tram stop and close to the city centre and train station (approximately 10 mins by tram). Room was clean and comfortable.

Great value for money - and special perks”
We - two adults and an sixteen year old - shared a room on the tenth floor with amazing views of the northern parts of Basel. The hotel is located right next to the motorway and railroad but we didn’t experience any noise in particular. The hotel gives a Basel card for all the guest which means free public transport in the city - a great extra perk.

I was in Basel while attending a conference. Although on the first glance the room I booked seemed clean, unfortunately it was not. The bedsheets were full of hair, the small desk on the side full of stains, and the toilet brush was also dirty.

Tiny room with sewage smell”
Room is tiny, fan did't work in the bathroom and strong sewage smell came from it. We could',t open the window to get some fresh air or air the room. Staff wasn't very friendly. Parking is 20 CHF and city tax 40CHF, which was not included to the price when we booked it.

Bad location, tiny room”
The location is not good at all. You need to transfer buses to go to downtown or train station. The biggest problem is the room was way too small. They hired a wrong architect.

A nice stay but good have improvements”
The hotel is very clean and the staff are very helpful and polite. However, the rooms can get very hot (even in April) and the air conditioning doesn't work. I didn't realise a member of staff could open the window until it was the end of my stay. The rooms also don't provide tea or coffee facilities, for the price I would expect this. The hotel is approx 40 mins walk to the centre of town so customers should be aware of this (and they can't change this). You do however get the Basel card. In all a nice stay but as I got a heavy discount when booking I felt I got value for money. However £300+ for 3 nights I'm not sure if it is worth it. For this price, I would stay somewhere more central and with free coffee/tea facilities.
