if the goal is to stay in roppongi on a budget, then, this may be your stay. for a 118sqft, they certainly made the space with efficiency in mind. your bed is likely raised to allow stowing your luggage away if not in use. you will notice that the corners and surfaces may not have been dusted in a short while. my primary complaint, however, remains that a single elevator services tourists staying on all 12 floors of the building you are assigned to. the hotel allows no access to either "emergency-only" stairwells that seem to sit on either ends of your floor. we have had been skipped over many times by the elevator, and we will at times wait up to 25min waiting on our turn. reasons include: 1) the elevator responds to the order of guests who press the command button first, so that means the person on the 12th floor may be serviced before the person on the 8th floor. 2) the capacity of the elevator will make space for a handful of guests and their suitcases (some guests really suck and do not try to pack in to allow just a single guest to step in even though the room allows.. don't be that person). 3) the elevator will complete one directional task at a time, so, if that person on the 1st floor wants to go up to the 12th floor, the person on the 8th floor will wait until everyone going up is taken care of. and then, if that person on the 3rd floor presses the downward button first, they will be serviced before the elevator finally thinks to return to service that person waiting on the 8th floor. the entire experience is rather decent until you are met with the battle of the elevators. if you have lots of patience, it may really not bother you at all

The bathroom in my room was also impressive, well-designed with modern fixtures and a great selection of toiletries. It was clean, comfortable, and had a relaxing atmosphere. The only downside was the room space, which was a bit smaller than expected. However, this is a common feature in many Japanese hotels, especially in central locations like Roppongi. Despite the compact size, the room was well-organized and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at APA Hotel Roppongi Six. Love the amenities. Disposal slippers, cotton swabs, hair bands, shampoo conditioner and body wash were available, which was convenient. There is a mini hair dryer, water pot and a mini fridge available in the room. Within a 5 to 10 minute radius, there was a My Basket(Mini supermarket) , Don Quijote, restaurants and convenience stores near by. I loved that on the first floor of the building we were in(Building E), had a washing machine, microwave, ice machine and a vending machine. They clean the room on the 3rd day which was no issue. They would hang a bag with towels and amenities on your hotel door daily. The only thing is they did not include toilet paper in the bag. I had to go all the way to the front desk to get toilet rolls. All in all, I would definitely stay at an APA Hotel.

Overall the location is ok, but is still quite a walk from the nearest subway. But there is a bus stop right infront of the hotel that can take you to the subway station. Maybe because the hotel was packed when we were there, our scheduled clean up day was not fulfilled. But the staff were really very attentive and helpful and they try their best. They also help us arrange our luggage deliveries. Since we stayed at another APA hotel with the same room size, i feel that the layout of our room in this one felt too cramped and can be better. But if you want to explore the roponggi area this is a good place to stay.
