super friendly staff that was more than willing to help out whenever I asked. I stayed in the single room which was clean and comfortable but had a kind of musty smell to it but it is an old building. They offer coffee in the morning and it is attached to a really yummy restaurant called The Corner - definitely stop by for breakfast you will not be disappointed. Kind of noisy because you're by a main road in San Jose but you are staying in a city so it's to be expected! Wifi was pretty strong and I got it in my room as well which was awesome. Oh, and I even got a hot shower one of the mornings which was amazing!

Building has a lot of character. 24 hours staff. Good kitchen and common areas. Convenient location. My stay there was excellent, I felt very safe and the staff is very helpful. stayed here for 5 days while I received dental work and did a bunch of errands. I will definitely stay here again if I need to return to San Jose.

Pros: big rooms, high ceilings, nice common area, a lot of info about tours and activities. Clean and comfortable. No obvious cons :) maybe just lack of plugs in rooms for charging.
