Akihabara hotels & places to stay

This hotel is very close to the Akihabara area of Tokyo, only about 1km walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful during my stay. There were several different train stations/subway lines within 2km of the hotel which I used to see other parts of Tokyo. The room was small but it's Tokyo so I imagine all hotel rooms are going to be small unless you're spending $$$$ on a 4-5 star hotel. It was nicely decorated and equipped. They have a self-serve washer and dryers on the 3rd floor which made it easy for me to do laundry while traveling. I would definitely stay there again if I were ever to visit Tokyo again.

We loved the cleaness, perfect location, healthy and delicious breakfast, free high quality coffee machine and very kind staffs. We will definetelty choose this hotel when we return to Tokyo as we can stroll to Tokyo station, Akihabara and lots of options of restaurants within few mins of walk. Free unlimited coffee were not instant coffee but it was cafe quality of coffee which we really appreciated. All staffs including receptioinsts, cleaners and restaurants staffs were so polite, kind and professional. Thanks heaps to make our stay so comfortable and felt like home in your hotel.

As most of Tokyo hotels, the rooms are small here, yet, very clean with all the essential requirements. There is an access to the microwave and ice machines. The rooms does not have a view as it's in the middle of buildings. The location is the amazing thing for this hotel, you just need to cross one street to reach Akihabara station. And of course Akihabara area is all around the hotel, especially Yodabashi. The staff is so nice in directing us to any place we ask about. And they even provided us with an English map of Akihabara with the streets names and the main shops. We didn't try the restaurant here as we had fun trying out the cafe around the hotel and inside Akihabara station.

We stayed here for 4 days with two small children, got a room with two twins and ended up pushing the beds together to create a Queen/King size bed for our entire family to share, since our small one can roll off. Although it was a small space, we used under the bed to store our large 3 luggage bags and stored three book bags in the corner of the room. We loved how convenient the hotel is to the stations and this was a local populated area with great stores and the main strip to Akihabara. The hotel staff were amazing, there was a staff member who clearly cared about here job. We were struggling to get a taxi for our family of four with large luggage bags and she hailed our taxi with ease and translating to the taxi driver where we needed to be to get to the airport. By the way the airport is 40 minutes away a ¥7400 to ¥8000 taxi trip. Either way this was an amazing trip. I personally enjoyed the breakfast, light and suitable for my taste. Great place to stay.

This was an excellent place to stay. The room is extremely beautiful and clean, and there is even a mini-fridge for you to keep any drinks you buy (and Tokyo has a lot of different kinds of drinks to begin with). The whole place felt very comfortable and it had quite a modern feel to it (in the lift, to get to your floor, you simply tap your room card onto a sensor and it automatically selects your floor). There are ice/cold water vending machines on each floor as well. When we checked in, there was apparently some kind of promotion going on, because they gave us a selection of beauty/cosmetic products (such as eye-masks, bath salts etc) for free! That was a nice touch. Additionally, the hotel also gives you one set of pajamas each day so you have something comfortable to change into. The location is magnificent. It is located near Akihabara (JR line) and Suehirocho (Tokyo Metro) stations, definitely walk-able even with heavy luggage. Even though it is near Akihabara station, it is on a quiet street so it is not near all the busy anime goods stores/maid cafes etc. Nice and quiet!

I found the hotel very homey & cozy to stay at, very clean and I'm overall satisfied with my stay. I also liked the surroundings since there are a lot of convenience stores and restaurants. It's also just a short walk from Asakusabashi station---the JR line takes me to the Yamanote Line (Akihabara) which is very convenient. Likewise, the Toei Asakusabashi line is perfect since it takes one to Narita Airport.Very convenient location! :) Highly recommended.

We wanted a place not too far from train station, found this hotel and proceed with the booking almost immediately. When we arrive there, then only we realised the hotel is really strategically located! It's very near to electronic town of Akihabara so we get to survey around, hunting for more action figurines. And what's more surprising is the restaurant near by hotel are so awesome! We saw a ramen shop that's always filled with the locals, so we decided to try. And guess what, that's the best ramen I have ever tasted in Japan! Everyday we would choose a place to hang out around the hotel and it's never a dull moment - such satisfaction after a full day out is the best thing in the world :) I'll definitely stay in the same place if I ever visit Akihabara again.

Very nice guest house located in Akihabara . 4-5 minute walk to Asakusabashi station for subways and trains. Staff was extremely accommodating! Offered my group laundry services for our personal clothes free of charge. They even provided us with fruit on a few mornings. Extremely nice people! Good size rooms for Tokyo. Bed room comfortably sleeps 3 adults with the addition of the extra bed. I will definitely stay there again when in Tokyo.

The hotel is NEW and CLEAN. Staff are great and they speak English. You can ask them anything like if you want to go to Skytree or go to Disneyland, they will tell you which metro to take, which station to switch etc etc... they will try their level best to help you with almost any of your need. The only issue is the room are really really small again all rooms in Tokyo are small. Please do not include breakfast in your booking as their breakfast is not too great. I would rather walk a few steps to a 7-11/family mart to grab a cup noodles or simple breakfast which is way way cheaper.

As with most APA hotels, it is conveniently located within a short walk from the train station. The room and bathroom are small (not unusual in Tokyo) but are clean. Double bed is very comfortable. Many restaurants nearby. Kanda is a good location as it's between Tokyo Station and places like Akihabara, Ueno and Asakusa. Not far from these tourist places. Staff are very friendly. I have stayed at APA Akhihabara 2 years ago and must comment that APA Kanda has friendlier staff and feels cleaner.

Remm Akihabara Hotel is located right next to JR Akihabara Station, which makes it very convenient for travelling in Tokyo. In addition to various JR lines passing through the area, there are also local subway (Metro) stations behind the hotel. The hotel itself is very new and clean. However, the rooms are very small (It can barely fit your luaggage). Even though the room is small, the bathroom and shower area is spacious enough for you to move around and not bump into things. Internet is complimentary with lan cables provided by the hotel. The bed and pillow is very comfortable and would give you a good sleep.

Hotel is actually close to Akihabara area (closer than Akihabara station in some parts of Akihabara like Don Quijote). It is also near a lot train stations, so very convenient. The room is a bit small. Good for 1 person with one large luggage. I brought 1 large and 1 hand-carry; did not have space for the hand-carry. Staff are nice and friendly, but very strict with the check-in time.

i chose this hotel because, on the map, it was located close to several subway stations. in fact, it was better, because the exits (which were not indicated on may map) to all these were located at a short walking distance (around 10 minutes at most) from it. the closed subway station is awajicho (3 minutes), but ogawamachi station is also close (7 minutes). 5 minutes away is also jr akihabara, and 7 minutes jr kanda. close to jimbocho used bookstore area and akihabara electronics shopping area. hotel clkers all very friendly and spoke excellent english. room size slightly small, but this is normal in japan.

Lovely welcoming staff, rooms and facilities cleaned daily, optional breakfast included (simple toast and beverages). Very close to Jimbocho station which is a convenient trainline for getting to Shibuya, and not far from Akihabara. Private rooms and shared dormitories are available, and we were able to book just one week in advance which was a lifesaver. I'll be staying here next time I'm in Tokyo!

We enjoyed our stay here as this location is quiet & peaceful with a 7-11 opposite the hotel & mini supermarkets within 3 mins walk. Subway Jimbocho is a 3 mins walk which leads to key tourist areas like Shinjuku & Shibuya. JR station Suidobashi is a 6-7 mins walk that brings you to Akihabara in less than 3 JR stops or to Tokyo station for you to change to Shinkansen or Maihama station to disney land. Very convenient place to stay at and also provides paid Washer n Dryer. Will come back again.

The hotel is located in a very attractive location that is closed to the major centers in the Tokyo area. It is a walking distance to both stations of subway and JR lines, to nearby attractions like old temples and shrines, eating areas along the Ochanomizu and Surugadai area of Kanda, and to the electronic town of Akihabara --- all accessible by foot within a range of 5 to 10 minutes. Also, the newly renovated central Tokyo station is just two stations away. The hotel amenities is also superb with wide rooms and comfortable wide beds. I am looking forward for another stay in this hotel.

Stayed for 8 nights with my friend (Oct. 26 - Nov. 3, 2016). We were happy with our choice to stay at Super Hotel as we experienced exactly what they indicated in their website. They easily granted the requests we made upon booking. The location was perfect for us as it is located in a very quiet area but just within the center of the shopping districts of Akihabara and Ueno and the train stations. We did a lot of walking and it was a good way to familiarize with the area. The daily mini buffet for breakfast is delicious and healthy.. We love also the special daily treat of five items for the ladies. The hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful. They made taxi reservations for us for our departure as we have to leave very early in the morning to catch the bus to Narita. We felt at home at Super Hote inspite of it' very cozy atmosphere. I'd love to come back and stay there again. My husband will be staying there when he visits Tokyo in March next year. Keep it up Super Hotel!

Stayed for 7 nights here for a university business trip. Pros: Direct access to both airport (Haneda and Narita) via Kenkyu Line without transfer. Walking distance to Akihabara (around 8-10 minutes). Great alley of cheap foods just beside the Asakusabashi station. Nearby 7/11 and Sunkus. Helpful English-speaking staffs. Have both Subway and JR station nearby (Asakusabashi station) with direct access to Shinjuku and Akihabara. Cons: The wifi is good but can be better especially in 3rd floor. Notes to guest-to-be: They rent towels for 100 yen per stay, and sell toothbrush for 100 each. No need to bring your own padlock for locker. Not for light sleeper, expect a hostel stay. Notes to accommodation: It would be nice if you offer change of linen after 3-4 days if the guest stays for a long time.

The staff are so friendly and nice, I can know they tried their best to serve their customer, their facilities and everything the hotel has is 10/10, highly recommended hotel for couple travelers! The journey to nearest Metro Station(Kanda Station, which has 3 lines very convenient station, easy for travelers!) it takes around 10 mins and walk to Akihabara from hotel just need 15 mins, amazing stay!

Within walking distance to Akihabara (less than 200m to Yodobashi Camera, if you're familiar with the area, you can estimate distances). There's a convenience store, various eateries and the train stations (JR Yamanote and Metro) all within 100m. The place itself, this is/has to be a new establishment, given the looks of it. Minimalist look, white and clean. The lobby is a shared living space with couches, a bartop, kitchen and sink for all to use. Stayed in a double bed room. Comfortable, rather spacious given what one would normally expect in Tokyo hotels. You can find in the room, a TV with local stations, air-conditioned and air purifier provided. Wifi is provided for free and bedroom slippers. Take note, towels are not included in the room, so either you bring your own towels or you can rent from the lobby (200JPY a towel if I remember correctly). Finally, the staff. Superb, young crew. Can converse in English well. Will stay here again.

I am happy that we picked this hotel. The location is so convenient. It’s near both JR and subway stations. When I say near, it’s just about 250m away. There’s a lot of convenience stores near it. The hotel is also near izakayas and other food spots. It’s around a kilometer from Akihabara and 2 train stations from Asakusa. Plus there’s a train that goes straight to and from Narita and Haneda that stops in the Asakusabashi subway station. It really is convenient. Checking in and checking out was very easy. Personally I just find the robots a little creepy but it still gives a nice novelty to the hotel. I like the free baggage port they have where you can leave your baggage so you can start roaming around when you arrive earlier than the 3pm check-in time or if you still have a lot of time before your flight. Another amazing thing in this hotel is that they can lend you a mobile phone with free internet. However, you can only use the phone for selected apps, mostly for researching and navigating around the metro. You can’t use it for social media and tethering. They have wi-fi though. The room is small but it really wasn’t an issue. I actually expected it to be small since space is very valuable in Tokyo. I loved the bathroom. Maybe it is a little too tiny for Westerners but it’s fair enough for Asians. I will definitely recommend other people to stay in this hotel.

fantastic budget hotel located very close to akihabara (15 min walk - one stop on JR line). The location is also very close to asakusa (20-25 mins walk), also to the Tokyo Edo museum (20 min walk)and even the imperial palace (30 minute walk) After arriving from Narita (requires 2 changes) by train, was warmly greeted. the room is standard for Asia but had room for suitcases and so room for hanging clothes the fridge was quite large compared to some other hotels i have stayed in. There is a free internet room downstairs, however i brought my laptop and was given a free ethernet cable to use. the internet was very quick, it peaked at 1.2MB a sec. The hotel staff were all very friendly and spoke good english. They helped us find our way to certain locations and also recommended a local doctors after a slight accident.
