Where to stay in Akihabara
Akihabara hotels & accommodations
This hotel is very close to the Akihabara area of Tokyo, only about 1km walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful during my stay. There were several different train stations/subway lines within 2km of the hotel which I used to see other parts of Tokyo. The room was small but it's Tokyo so I imagine all hotel rooms are going to be small unless you're spending $$...
Apart from the excellent location to Akihabara and surrounds the staff at this hotel are some of the most Professional around, quiet clean and good sized rooms, beside the main rd but 2 layered windows ensure no sound at all, great location great price and great staff, what more can you ask.
This hotel is just 1 minute walk away from Akihabara, but significantly lower price / larger space than living inside Akihabara. About 5 minute walk to Akihabara station or Shinjuku line subway stations. They serving free small-sized noodle bowl at night. Also, they offers free hot spring (Japanese style). I had great experience with them.
Stay at Dormy Inn Akihabara was fantastic, the staff were well mannered and spoke good english and were very friendly and always willing to help out with any enquiries. The room was clean and tidy, with everything need, shower, bar fridge and free internet. The rooms are not very big but hey its Tokyo .. all rooms are small. If you like Akihabara (Electric Town) the...
We loved the cleaness, perfect location, healthy and delicious breakfast, free high quality coffee machine and very kind staffs. We will definetelty choose this hotel when we return to Tokyo as we can stroll to Tokyo station, Akihabara and lots of options of restaurants within few mins of walk. Free unlimited coffee were not instant coffee but it was cafe quality of ...
great loacation, close to JR station. walking distance from food and night life in akihabara. hotel is clean. modern room. the only downside is that the internet in the business center is not free. staff are friendly. would definitely recommend the hotel to others.
As most of Tokyo hotels, the rooms are small here, yet, very clean with all the essential requirements. There is an access to the microwave and ice machines. The rooms does not have a view as it's in the middle of buildings. The location is the amazing thing for this hotel, you just need to cross one street to reach Akihabara station. And of course Akihabara area is al...
We stayed here for 4 days with two small children, got a room with two twins and ended up pushing the beds together to create a Queen/King size bed for our entire family to share, since our small one can roll off. Although it was a small space, we used under the bed to store our large 3 luggage bags and stored three book bags in the corner of the room. We loved how con...
This was an excellent place to stay. The room is extremely beautiful and clean, and there is even a mini-fridge for you to keep any drinks you buy (and Tokyo has a lot of different kinds of drinks to begin with). The whole place felt very comfortable and it had quite a modern feel to it (in the lift, to get to your floor, you simply tap your room card onto a sensor and...
I found the hotel very homey & cozy to stay at, very clean and I'm overall satisfied with my stay. I also liked the surroundings since there are a lot of convenience stores and restaurants. It's also just a short walk from Asakusabashi station---the JR line takes me to the Yamanote Line (Akihabara) which is very convenient. Likewise, the Toei Asakusabashi line is perfe...
We wanted a place not too far from train station, found this hotel and proceed with the booking almost immediately. When we arrive there, then only we realised the hotel is really strategically located! It's very near to electronic town of Akihabara so we get to survey around, hunting for more action figurines. And what's more surprising is the restaurant near by hotel...
Very nice guest house located in Akihabara . 4-5 minute walk to Asakusabashi station for subways and trains. Staff was extremely accommodating! Offered my group laundry services for our personal clothes free of charge. They even provided us with fruit on a few mornings. Extremely nice people! Good size rooms for Tokyo. Bed room comfortably sleeps 3 adults with the a...
The hotel is NEW and CLEAN. Staff are great and they speak English. You can ask them anything like if you want to go to Skytree or go to Disneyland, they will tell you which metro to take, which station to switch etc etc... they will try their level best to help you with almost any of your need. The only issue is the room are really really small again all rooms in Toky...
1) beds. comfy beds with big white blankets and you get a therapeutic pillow as well as a normal fluffy one. 2) location. quiet neighbourhood, about a 5 minute walk from asakusabashi station (a16) two stops away from akihabara, take exit 2a, walk forward from the top of the stairs, and turn right when you see a ladies clothing store with gray signage right on the cor...
As with most APA hotels, it is conveniently located within a short walk from the train station. The room and bathroom are small (not unusual in Tokyo) but are clean. Double bed is very comfortable. Many restaurants nearby. Kanda is a good location as it's between Tokyo Station and places like Akihabara, Ueno and Asakusa. Not far from these tourist places. Staff are ver...
Remm Akihabara Hotel is located right next to JR Akihabara Station, which makes it very convenient for travelling in Tokyo. In addition to various JR lines passing through the area, there are also local subway (Metro) stations behind the hotel. The hotel itself is very new and clean. However, the rooms are very small (It can barely fit your luaggage). Even though t...
Hotel is actually close to Akihabara area (closer than Akihabara station in some parts of Akihabara like Don Quijote). It is also near a lot train stations, so very convenient. The room is a bit small. Good for 1 person with one large luggage. I brought 1 large and 1 hand-carry; did not have space for the hand-carry. Staff are nice and friendly, but very strict wit...
i chose this hotel because, on the map, it was located close to several subway stations. in fact, it was better, because the exits (which were not indicated on may map) to all these were located at a short walking distance (around 10 minutes at most) from it. the closed subway station is awajicho (3 minutes), but ogawamachi station is also close (7 minutes). 5 minutes ...
This hotel is one station away from akihabara, there’s also a JR Station nearby. A lot of convenience stores and those small restaurants where you can eat. there’s also yoshinoya. the provide sleeping clothes and provide clean towels, and toiletries every day. **it’s alright but this hotel only has 1 elevator.
Lovely welcoming staff, rooms and facilities cleaned daily, optional breakfast included (simple toast and beverages). Very close to Jimbocho station which is a convenient trainline for getting to Shibuya, and not far from Akihabara. Private rooms and shared dormitories are available, and we were able to book just one week in advance which was a lifesaver. I'll be sta...
We enjoyed our stay here as this location is quiet & peaceful with a 7-11 opposite the hotel & mini supermarkets within 3 mins walk. Subway Jimbocho is a 3 mins walk which leads to key tourist areas like Shinjuku & Shibuya. JR station Suidobashi is a 6-7 mins walk that brings you to Akihabara in less than 3 JR stops or to Tokyo station for you to change to Shinkansen o...
The hotel is located in a very attractive location that is closed to the major centers in the Tokyo area. It is a walking distance to both stations of subway and JR lines, to nearby attractions like old temples and shrines, eating areas along the Ochanomizu and Surugadai area of Kanda, and to the electronic town of Akihabara --- all accessible by foot within a range o...
Stayed for 8 nights with my friend (Oct. 26 - Nov. 3, 2016). We were happy with our choice to stay at Super Hotel as we experienced exactly what they indicated in their website. They easily granted the requests we made upon booking. The location was perfect for us as it is located in a very quiet area but just within the center of the shopping districts of Akihabara a...
Stayed for 7 nights here for a university business trip. Pros: Direct access to both airport (Haneda and Narita) via Kenkyu Line without transfer. Walking distance to Akihabara (around 8-10 minutes). Great alley of cheap foods just beside the Asakusabashi station. Nearby 7/11 and Sunkus. Helpful English-speaking staffs. Have both Subway and JR station nearby (Asakus...
The room was small but had all the comforts:comfortable bed, modern lighting, very quiet rooms, hot showers and the japanese style techie toilet. I would stay here again, in fact, after our trip to Kyoto we wanted to stay one more night here but they were full and I understand why. Can't beat the price and location for a four star hotel. The restaurant was also good but ...
The staff are so friendly and nice, I can know they tried their best to serve their customer, their facilities and everything the hotel has is 10/10, highly recommended hotel for couple travelers! The journey to nearest Metro Station(Kanda Station, which has 3 lines very convenient station, easy for travelers!) it takes around 10 mins and walk to Akihabara from hotel ...
Within walking distance to Akihabara (less than 200m to Yodobashi Camera, if you're familiar with the area, you can estimate distances). There's a convenience store, various eateries and the train stations (JR Yamanote and Metro) all within 100m. The place itself, this is/has to be a new establishment, given the looks of it. Minimalist look, white and clean. The lobby...
I am happy that we picked this hotel. The location is so convenient. It’s near both JR and subway stations. When I say near, it’s just about 250m away. There’s a lot of convenience stores near it. The hotel is also near izakayas and other food spots. It’s around a kilometer from Akihabara and 2 train stations from Asakusa. Plus there’s a train that goes straight to an...
Good location in Akihabara. There are washing machines and vendo inside the hotel and the room is always kept clean.
fantastic budget hotel located very close to akihabara (15 min walk - one stop on JR line). The location is also very close to asakusa (20-25 mins walk), also to the Tokyo Edo museum (20 min walk)and even the imperial palace (30 minute walk) After arriving from Narita (requires 2 changes) by train, was warmly greeted. the room is standard for Asia but had room for su...

10 minute walk to Akihabara, very safe. I really liked my fancier bunk that was built into the wall that doesn't rattle like a usual bunk bed. Also really liked having my own tall locker. Only small downside is they don't offer you towels, toothbrush, combs etc. for free like other Japanese hostels I've stayed at.
This place is perfect: value for money, near Okachimachi station (go to Haneda airport and Narita), near Akihabara station. The place is near central Akihabara and quiet place to stay there. It's just 5 minutes walk to Akihabara. Near this hostel there are some good restaurat: sukiya (cheap), royal host, McDonald, ramen shop and etc. The staffs is very helpful and kind...
2回目の利用もドミトリールームに滞在しましたが冷房も効いていましたし暑がりの私にはとても良かったです!^^ シャワーが4つあるシャワールームにも24時間冷房がきいてあって有難かったです。 you can feel comfortable staying at little japan even in the summer season. i personally prefer to stay in a dormitory room, but before stayin i worried about if the room would have a moderate air conditioning or none. staying at little japan is the best place also in summer. ...

Very clean throughout, good facilities, helpful staff, and a comfortable night's sleep. A nice quiet capsule hotel with very roomy and comfortable capsules. Loved the design - it's exactly what I think of when I think of Tokyo or Akihabara - it looks like something out of 2001: Space Odyssey! It's a little strange that you have to 'check out' every day, but you can sti...
The location is great!! Near JR Station Kanda and can be reached within walk distance. For all of you who are intending to roam around Akihabara, I think 9Hours Kanda is the best choice. I spent 9 nights there and whenever I went to Akihabara, I just walked from the hotel. You can find many restaurants nearby like Sukiya, Matsuya, Soba Restaurants, Izakayas, even Starb...
I enjoyed my 10-night long stay at Hiromas Hostel Kanda and will definitely consider staying here again during my next visit to Tokyo. Facilities were modern and always clean. The capsule was surprisingly spacious and comfy. Towels are changed daily. Staff is friendly and can speak English. Both Kanda station and Akihabara are within walking distance. There are conven...
-clean dorm room, toilet and shower -with free use of kitchen -convinient location in a quite neighborhood with direct train lines to Akihabara, Shinjuku, Ghibli and Suginami Animation Museum -5 kilometers to Tsukiji Fish Market (if interested into watching the Tuna Auction or eating fresh sushi in the morning)
I was here with 3 of my friends. We booked the private room that had 4 beds in a bunk style, private toilet and shower. Nice cosy little room. Place has 2 common spaces and the one at the top floor has a kettle, microwave and fridge. My only complain is that the ladders for the bunk beds are really small so it can get annoying. About a 10min walk to Akihabara Station w...

the location is really great. its very close to akihabara and also you can easily walk up to ueno or even tokyo station. a really great base to explore tokyo from. the rooms are clean and beds are japanese style futons/bunkbeds. there are only two showers which isnt great if the place is fully occupied. some of the lockers cant be locked. the staff were nice and real...

Though I stayed virtually about only 7 hours in the hostel, I am impressed with the setup and the atmosphere of the hostel. I like the Japanese dorm especially and that's one of reasons why I picked up this hostel from the Agoda list and since I have hurt my leg, I have problem of an upper deck bed which is common in most hostels. Everything is fine except one thing w...

This is a nice new hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was modern and clean. The hotel was little off the beaten track but easy enough to find. It was a short and interesting walk from Okachimachi Station on the Yamanote line. It's in an interesting area and handily located for walking to Ueno and Akihabara, short train ride to Asakusa and the Sky...
i was there just to stop by for one night to prepare to leave for next day. The boss jij so loverly, he is humorous and welcomed almost with every customer with a special way, give one small glass of water to you, actually it's japanese sake, i love wine, so i feel happy thought found being fooled like others by him, but it's a lovely joke to every new comer. it's a sm...
This place is not far from Akihabara Station (about 500 m.). And near a shopping zone included a lot of restaurants. In front of hotel have a JR railway, it might be noisy a little bit. A room size isn't wide (I stayed in 6-pax room with 4 people), but not uncomfortable. (Who had an experience in dormitory will not have a problem in this place) A weakpoint of this hote...
Location is good. 5 mins away from nearest train station. Can take both JR and Metro. Nearby have 24-hr convenience stores (7-11, Family Mart, Lawson) and restaurants. Nice staff at front desk. A bit old decoration but still comfortable to stay. Room size is good enough. If you are a fans of Japanese TV show or animate, please note that the choise of TV channels are l...
Very convenient, walking distance within 400-700m to 2 separate train stations. You can also walk to Akihabara, only 1Km away. Have some nice reasonable restaurants around too.
Good location in Akihabara. There are washing machines and vendo inside the hotel and the room is always kept clean.
The location was great for the price. It is about 20 minutes walk away from Akihabara and in a different direction the National Museum. The other great thing is the subway station that is 10 minutes walk away goes directly to the Mitaka station where the Ghibli museum is and the Tokyo Dome. I would stay here again.
Good location. Very thoughtful to provide different toiletries ,even pajamas! The only bad is house keeping service only available in the morning. You have to leave the room before 11am to put a service request tag. But i’m a night person so can’t have my room cleaning for few days😂
My stay in Akihabara hotel is perfectly nice. Although I and my friend could not communicate with the staffs well. They tried their efforts to talk to us so that we could get what they mean. In between my staying period, my friend accidentally lost her passport , we were so blank and did not know what to do. And luckily one of the staff can speak Chinese and I am a...

Since the hotel had single room, it was good for one who travel alone. Accommodation are nice, Japanese breakfast are great, location 3 min walk to the station. I visit the hotel during cherry blossom festival, the cherry blossoms spot are just 5-8 min walk from the hotel. I have a great time there

We took Skyliner + taxi from Narita airport which needed less than 60mins. We stayed an Icho room, it is decorated to the best of Japanese taste. Room is equipped with big stone tub which I could enjoy a very nice hot bath; we loved the Green tea & Mikimoto amenity provided. The hotel is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, yet plenty of local Japan restaurant choices...
The hotel is 50 steps from the Kokyo - Imperial Palace with ponds, swans, royal fish and beautiful surroundings. Otemachi is the nearest station, but if you walk 15 minutes you reach Tokyo stationa - the hub to all city destinations. Limusine bus from Narita stops here as well. 700-900 yen taxi to the hotel from Tokyo station. The rooms are small, but confortable...
