"The hotel and rooms had super cute decor and the facilities generally look new too. The room is a little small if you have 2 large luggages (Tip: Room 211 is slightly bigger). Onsite parking available for 25CHF/day and the Old Town is about 8 mins walk away. We did not have the breakfast but there is a cafe at Kunsthaus (5 mins away) that has breakfast options. "

"Beautifully designed interiors! However, 2 people in the room have trouble maneuvering around the bed. One person would be fine but 2 was a little hard for such a small room. The 2 women who were running the hotel were just wonderful! Very, very helpful with positive attitudes and patient with non German speaking guests. It is a little pricey considering the size of the room but perhaps Zurich in general is pricey."

"This was a cute hotel with very clean rooms and great amenities. The room provided plenty of shampoo, soaps, and lotions. The bed was comfortable and although, there wasn't air conditioning, the fan provided in the room was perfectly adequate. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and spoke English very well. I stayed at several hotels in Switzerland on this trip and the breakfast at this hotel was by far my favorite! Additionally, the hotel is in a quieter location, but is just a few blocks from the lake and a nice walking/running/biking path, as well as a short walk to Bellevue, where there is access to a ton of public transportation. This was probably my favorite hotel of all the ones I stayed at in Switzerland on this trip!"

"Very nice small hotel for a short stay...we were there 3 nights but if longer I would have searched out something less expensive. Well located with close-by tram access, train to the airport, and numerous restaurants and cafes. Room was small but very adequate, and perhaps a bit on the "pricey" side having inquired at other local hotels when we were in Zurich. The bar/restaurant also very pricey....breakfast is $38 each which you can beat by 60% at local cafes. Only complaints: shower/bath floor very slippery and hotel did not provide non-skid so ended up putting down a towel on the shower floor when using. Shampoo not the best (had to wash hair 3-4 times to get clean) and have to ask at desk for conditioner. We requested a "quiet" room and got one on the fourth floor. Lower floors, especially 2nd, are noisy due to traffic. Generally a nice place to stay and would give it a 4.5 rating. Staff very nice and helpful and all spoke reasonably good English. "

"I have been coming back to this centrally located hotel for 20 years and I very much appreciate the old world charm and total grasp of quality and comfort that the hotel understands. It appears to be under new management since my last visit to Zurich a few years ago now but the hotel was pretty much the same. My only disappointment was the inability to use the roof terrace because of the faintest risk of rain which only came at night in the end. This is not a cheap place to dine either with the restaurant rather overpriced for a dinner, which is overly elaborate in my view."

"The welcome we received was genuine. Tourist information was helpful. Little extras like fruit and interesting reading material in the small reception area enhanced this welcome. The room's design made full use of a small area, with triple aspect windows compensating for the small space. The strong design in the small bathroom imparted a lively personality when a sense of tranquillity would have been preferred. On the whole we had an enjoyable stay and appreciated the cheerful service.
