I have a low expectation to 57hostel, but upon arrival, I AM THANKFUL THAT I PICK 57HOSTEL as my first place of staying. This is my first time coming to Seoul and this place, th room, the cleanliness, the very easy directions and the GOLD location (right next to Meyongdong market) makes everything PERFECT. you can also come downstairs to CU minimart that opens 24hrs, and in the morning come to ISAAC to buy americano and toast. I actually extended my stay from 3 to 6days because I AM LOVING THIS PLACE SO MUCH. Ps: you have to come to the rooftop and have your own beer there, sit surrounded by citylights, and Namsan tower view. GOLD. I cant wait to come again. its a very NICE one.

This hostel is strategically located and easy to find. I love how it’s near subway exits, bus stops, and currency exchange shops. The staff was very attentive and responsive to all my queries even prior to arrival. Not to mention, they speak good English! Was also able to use their desktop computers for free when I had a meeting. Food is simple but fills your stomach; menu changes slightly everyday as well. They have water dispensers and weighing scales for luggages— such a huge help!! Thank you so much for a pleasant stay, will definitely stay here again when I come back to Korea again.

Great place in central location”
The room was really clean and had a great view! The room was also really thoughtfully equipped and had everything you might need including hair dryer, shampoo, etc. The room wasn’t too big but there is space under the bed to store your luggage so it was really all fine! Really loved staying here because of the location as well, it’s close to the metro as well as metro and you can reach all the historical attractions as well as popular markets and night life areas really quick.

Great budget hotel”
We have been staying at this hostel for several years pre covid and are happy to note that service standards have been maintained. Staff members were always helpful and friendly. The free mini washing machines with drying racks and detergent were extremely helpful and we wish more hotels have that. Towels can be changed everyday. Unbeatable location, located in Myeongdong shopping area. Our room had L-shaped windows with a full city view. Every level of the hostel also has a weighing scale to weigh the heavy baggage. Highly recommended.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant people. Location is prime, can get to many hot spots. Room was clean and room cleaning was wonderful. For a hostel, breakfast was surprisingly good. Even found parking nearby :) Thank you, will make sure to book again if in the area!

We enjoyed our stay. Location is the best part of it, plus the great breakfast they serve every morning. Staffs are friendly and helpful, ths rooms and linen smells clean and good. Everything you need is there, esp in the pantry. We will surely stay again at 57 Myeongdong Hostel on our next visit to Seoul.

Beyond All Expectations ”
I recently had the pleasure to stay here for 7 days. The hotel is located in a wonderful part of Seoul and the staff Are super friendly and all speak English. I was greeted by Chris. He informed me that Breakfast was included and to say it was a feast is a understatement. The rooms are large, bright and CLEAN. The hotel has a great Vibe and i will be back to stay in the near Future. I recommend this hotel 10/10

Strategically located in Myeongdong area. Lots of eateries in the area. The staff is accommodating. Nice breakfast. Although the room is small but manageable. They provided adaptor.

If you're a solo traveller here in Seoul, you'll enjoy staying in this hostel. It's right in the middle of Myeongdong. It's near a train station so you can travel around easily. And it's cheap! Highly recommended.

Best location, friendly and helpful staff . Suggestion? The hotel should be a little more considerate in extending a late check out especially for their long staying guests. Although they are accommodating luggage storage, few hours of extending our stay upon departure won't hurt that much. Nevertheless, all else are okay and would still want to come back and stay in the hotel soon. 💜💜💜
