Lovely accomodation and service with a smile
Food price at the resturent. There are limited choice but the price is $ 25 pp.

Pleasant and convenient

All was in order on arrival late in the afternoon. The guest room was clean though dark. The bathroom was showing its age and really is in need of refurbishment. All services expected of a Mercure were available and the quality of the food at dinner was surprisingly good but, at $19, the continental breakfast was over-priced.

Dine in for dinner as other options in the immediate area are limited and the in-house menu is surprisingly good.

nice hotel but not close to city

too far out to walk to city, rooms are quite modern but there is no heating for the winter and it was a cold night when we were there, very hard to find room specially upstairs as hard to see room numbers, reception staff very helpful, parking is a fair way from room unless you are there early in the day,

Great location.
The view was brilliant - you could see the whole pool area.

Bed was uncomfortable.
Shower head sprayed water everywhere.
I was staying at this motel by myself and I asked the front desk person if my brother could carry my luggage to my room with me (as I do not know Townsville at all, let alone this motel) and he told me NO as I was the only one registered for the room.
