Christopher K. En pareja United States of America, 15 de febrero de 2013	Worst place I've ever stayed Nothing 2 We knew the location was away from D'Mall and the beaches. That was no big deal. The breakfast was free, but they shouldve been paying me to eat that trash. The wifi didn't work in the rooms. They didn't reset the router when I asked them two twice. I had to locate it and do it myself. Rooms were big, but old, wall to wall dirty, paper thin walls and they didn't clean a single one of the 5 nights we stayed. This was the first place of 4 resorts on our vacation and it was by far the worst. Absolute nightmare. Avoid at all costs.
Jeff C. En pareja United States of America, 23 de enero de 2013	Private beach on the Northeast corner Far from the Madding Crowd. Bottom line: we will return! 9,7 We loved our stay at the Zoe Mei. It is quiet and peaceful. The staff is fantastic. The rooms are simple. There is hot water and an A/C unit. The little restaurant had some good food. Be sure to try the lumpias and the boracas. Take a short walk to the private beach. It is a sandy beach with a lot of small coral, so it is best to wear some sort of water shoes. I swam straight out 100' and circled over the rock outcroppings, depth of 3' to 6'. Vis was decent and I saw many fish. Talk with Robby to get info about the coral outcroppings by the islands. If you want to go to the white sandy beaches, the restaurants, the bars, the D Mall, the crowds, then just ride the Zoe Mei shuttle which runs every 3 or 4 hours. Ride in the van, stay at Station 1 or 2 for several hours,then ride back. It is free! Consejos: lugares de interés: If you are a diver, try to avoid the shops owned by and catering to a specific ethnic group, i.e., Korean or Russian. The shops vary in quality, but the big point is that their priority is their classes for that ethnic group. I had good luck with Boracay Divers. Louie and I did a couple of 1:1 dives. Each dive is $40, and that includes equip rntl. Vis was about 50', but lots of coral and new fish to see. My wife and I did a snorkel/island hop with the Allen B Fun group. We got to snorkel twice, went around about half of the island. A good buffet lunch was included. Expect to pay a small fee of 20 pesos to snorkel at Crocodile Island (well worth it) and 200 pesos to go on a private island (my wife was just as happy to get sunburned and read her Kindle on the beach). They supply cheap masks and snorkels, but no fins. Bring your own!

En pareja Russia, 06 de enero de 2013	Peaceful,but spartan location with great service Great beach, exceptionally friendly staff, affordable price 7,7 never forget - you usually get just what you've paid for, that said, i'm more, than happy with my recent stay in zoe mei. quite beach without algae in water and absence of crowds of people - those are the best things about resort's location. as for the other distinct advantages, i can name only one - great & super friendly staff - but it's really worth returning there again and again. as for the main negatives - the biggest one is the rather remote location from boracay centre - it would take you around 20 minutes ( if you are lucky) to get to a budgetmart. besides, the road to ilig iligan is under construction, so, you'll never forget your first tricycle ride to resort. another thing - room deco is rather spartan, but i was really prepared to see something worse, keeping in mind, how much i've paid for it - luxury resort lovers would probably prefer nearby shangri-la, which costs just 6x higher - strangely enough, i've seen several in zoe mei and they were very dissatisfied. Consejos: lugares de interés: typical visitor of this hotel would go to a white beach in the morning, using a free shuttle and return back only in the evening (some - next morning), so, there's usually no one on hotel beach, which is sooo great, compared to a white beach. so, alternating white beach, full of amusements, with a local beach, where you can just relax, seems to be rather good idea.
